After standing at the counter for 15 minutes, the employee never spoke a word to us. Didn’t ask us to wait a moment, didn’t ask what we wanted, or anything. Just ignored us and walked around with a terrible look on her face. Walked out and found a friendlier face and attitude at Happy Pappy’s down the road.

It was very busy in the store they have two registers but only one was open and the line went all the way around to the back of the store and the manager was there and he was fiddling on his phone and wouldn't even open up the next register very disappointing

When I travel, I love finding a locally-owned coffee shop. West Beach Coffee House is located right in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama inside Pier 33 convenience store.The barista greeted me warmly when I arrived and was very helpful as I made my selection. This place is not fancy at all, but honestly, that's what made me love it even more.It's a charming little coffee shop that was cozy and inviting and served its purpose. I enjoyed freshly brewed coffee and a warm pastry. It was served fast and friendly. I'll definitely visit again!

To preface this review, I did not get to go in the store itself. My friend went in and got a drink for me, so my review is only about the drink itself. I ordered a vanilla cold brew with alt milk. I usually get almond or oat. I always get either a vanilla cold brew or iced latte my first time somewhere to kind of compare my base favorite drinks at places. It helps me see where it sits on my scales. The coffee had a good robust base like I expected, but it was just a teeny more sweet than I typically prefer. I would put it in a Dunkin direction of sweet, but not necessarily as intense. If that makes senseI would definitely try other drinks they had in the future.

The service here is amazing and the food is too. My daughter fell down right outside and they gave me band aids and made her a new drink. Absolutely amazing people running the shop and cafe. Thank you very much for helping me.

It is located upstairs of Pier 33. During hangout festival, it was packed with people, so i always had to wait 20 minutes or so to get my morning latte. The staff was slow but they were kind.Regarding the taste, not the best coffee I ever had. But i was caffeinated and that was all i need during 3-day festival :)

I used to love this place in 2019, I moved and didn’t visit often, but I would dream about their vanilla and hazelnut lattes. I’ve been twice in the last week & they taste absolutely NOTHING like they used too! I they also used to be about 5$ now they are $7 something, which I wouldn’t have a problem with, if it was the same delicious lattes I remember. Just threw away a full latte because I just couldn’t even drink it.
