Had the pull pork sandwich and the spicy slaw hot dog was very satisfied they have some of the best slaw around and the pull pork is actually smoked not mass produced as a bbq business owner myself I tend to try other places while I'm traveling and I'm glad I came across this place there in the Alabama BBQ hall of fame and I can see why great place

Mary's is east of Huntsville so it's a bit of an adventure getting there. It's a classic bbq shack with few seats inside and picnic tables under a couple of shade trees. It's fine looking at the signatures all over the walls and ceiling. The food was good but isn't necessarily a destination for me. Nice pulled pork and excellent green beans, but about half of the sides weren't available. We had a great time!

Food always good! So good that this last time my potato was hard, undercooked, and nasty, I still wasn’t mad. Because 95% of the time that isn’t the case. Been going to Mary’s for years. Never a problem, never unsatisfied until this last time but like I said that’s not normal. I’ll still go back for more but hopefully this was the last hard, undercooked, nasty potato I ever get!
