Fantastic! Cool atmosphere - tons of art on the walls, nicely set tables. Delicious food! We enjoyed the Conecuh bruschetta appetizer, shrimp, catfish AND roast beef po-boys. All were cooked perfectly. Service was a bit slower, but good and so friendly! Seemed like a place to just slow down and enjoy a good time! Will absolutely return!

Food was awesome and the service was too! I wish I could remember the name of our waitress because she was so nice and gave us the best service. We got blackened chicken pasta, gumbo, and the pork loin and it was all amazing. The bread pudding is a hit too!

Highly recommend newly reopened Mr PoBoy. The atmosphere and the decor are more upscale and the varied menu is fantastic! Shrimp and grits are the best I’ve had and I have had many to compare to these. Very tasty. Great dining and friendly staff.

I had a take out order of shrimp and grits a few nights ago. I enjoyed it so much, I couldn't wait for an opportunity to go back and carry my wife. We went for lunch today. Each of us had the shrimp and grits and both enjoyed it. I also like the convenience of an "upscale" restaurant near our home. I'm very happy Mr. Po-Boy is back and even better than before.

Stopped by on a whim and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Had the blackened catfish PoBoy and it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and tasted great. My son had the kids cheeseburger and really enjoyed. We both agreed we have to come back

Truly 5 stars all around. The absolute best shrimp and grits I have had anywhere, and I've had shrimp n grits from Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, all over Georgia and Alabama, Florida you name it. Hands down the best. Also the jambalaya my wife had was better than any I've ever tasted. We try cajun cooking wherever we go and this little gem did not disappoint. Chef came out to meet us talk about future dishes and tge waitress was 10 stars, all the way. Good price too!

Great authentic Cajun cuisine! Much more than just a “sandwich shop” which is all we were expecting when we made an impromptu stop while passing through Huntsville. It’s like being in Cajun country! Very authentic! The owner is a transplant from the New Orleans area and he brings the authentic character of the food, friendliness and personality of South Louisiana with him to this great restaurant! Give it a try.

Catfish PoBoy with Cajun Putine. Sandwich was just okay, nothing special. I will say it was prepared fresh and service was very friendly. Cajun putine was very tasty and I would've been happy with this alone. Just expected quite a bit more I guess for a $12 sandwich. Would give it another try with another menu item.

Authentic and excellent! Hands down, the best Louisiana cuisine I've had since leaving Louisiana years ago. Top three restaurants in general in N. Alabama. One of two that I'd say "I can't wait to eat there", on travels to the region.Things I like -- Great flavor and nothing overpowering- Owner cares and circulates with folks dining- Great menuThings I don't like -- I'm mad my stomach can only hold so muchFolks, it is that good. Hampton Cove and Gurley, you are lucky to have this gem!

Very helpful and attentive staff. Brisket sandwich was very good. Fried shrimp were plump and the sauce was good. Red beans and rice was not as flavorful as I would have liked, kind of bland. Maybe some hot sauce would have helped, but I am referring to flavor as opposed to heat.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. I had the half shrimp and half oyster poboy and it was good. The proteins were perfectly cooked and the bread was spot on. I’d suggest getting the sauce on the side. Mine was swimming and it overwhelmed the taste and made the bread too soggy for my tastes.
