Viva La Casita Hamilton Alabama

Hamilton, AL. Question. WHY ARE YOU NOT AT VIVA LA CASITA?! That place should be PACKED!!!! The food and service is absolutely AMAZING. VERY large portions, flavorful, very well seasoned. Get the fresh guacamole. They make it there and it arrives in a molcajete. For the first time in a long time, I wasn't able to finish my food (minus the guac) because it was so delicious. Service was absolutely exceptional and friendly. Most restaurants that are Mexican/ Hispanic are pretty much all the same. However, something about this one was unique in its flavor. I don't know what it was, but it was leagues ahead of other places I've been to. I mentioned how much I enjoyed the food and how they should be packed out and their eyes lit up and their shoulders picked up. There's pride in their food. They know it should be packed. There's something special about this place. Keep it here!

This Mexican restaurant is the best in town they can shut down the other 6 or 7 ones and just keep this one I would not complain

Wonderful staff! They make sure you have what you need at all times. The food is great. Best Mexican restaurant in Hamilton!

I have no idea why we were the only customers here. This place is fantastic. Order the LARGE Guacamole. You will not be disappointed. Portion size was great and priced very fairly. The next time I'm traveling through Hamilton, I will be back.

Went in to have lunch today. Got Taco salad Viva/ steak, grilled chicken, shrimp & Jalapeño’ BBQ Nachos. And Mexican guacamole. Food was amazing and had leftovers to take home. Absolutely the best Mexican Restaurant in town. Met you at the door with a smile. Service was GREAT. We will be back.

We eat there often. Never disappointed in food or service!! Definitely a great place to dine.

Parking: Easy to get to, spacious parking

Kid-friendliness: Staff very attentive to my 3 grands. Making sure drinks remained full with non-spill cups and brought extra plates.

Completely perfect me and my family to go and eat some really good food, the design of everything when you go into the restaurant, amazing, the sauces, amazing. Everything about this place is absolutely perfect, would recommend!!! ?

Like another reviewer stated, I was thinking "great, another Mexican restaurant in Hamilton." I was pleasantly surprised, when I tried it out. Food and service were very good. Large portions. I had the chicken fajitas and couldn't finish it all, had to get a "to go" box. I'll definitely be back!!

When I saw that this was going to be a Mexican restaurant, I remember thinking, “great just what we need in Hamilton, another Mexican restaurant. But we decided to give it a try after the new space that took over Fajita Grill left nothing to be desired and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and the prices were very reasonable. We have tried dozens of Mexican restaurants across Northern Al and this was by far the best yet. The first place I’ve found with authentic tasting rice, like you find out west or in Mexico. Fajitas were excellent with big portions, and staff was really nice and friendly. Definitely will be a regular spot in the future.
