Today was terrible. Pipe bursted and water running out door and in hallway and in floor of restaurant. Dishes piled up all over counter and tables and flies everywhere. Worst I have ever seen it.

The tables were nasty, floor was standing in water. No one seemed to care about the standing water. Our food was cooked 1 plate at a time and brought out,so we had to wait on all our food to come then the waffles was stail and cold. Their were only 3 people working 1 cook and 2 servers. This place use to be a good place to eat. This was not the 1st time the place was nasty and poor food. We ate their a few days earlier a d it was almost as bad

My family of four came in for breakfast during the week. There were two cooks and only one waitress for the whole building... steadily 5-6 tables to attend to at once. She seemed to be handling it well and we had everything we needed but she was probably one more table from being in the weeds. We are regulars at another location and by comparison the food here is just appalling. First the cooks should always be wearing gloves. The flat grill was obviously in need of being scraped as my turkey sausage was covered in grill grit and over cooked, two out of three eggs over cooked, my over cooked greasy hashbrowns were just sitting ontop of the veggies that were also swimming in their juices on my plate and my toast wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter they put on it. At this point i started paying more attention to my surroundings and counted atleast a dozen flies on the windows, walls and booths on just our side. Looked to my left as i noticed a puddle on the floor then a drip from the ceiling and there were 3 missing ceiling tiles. We had a wonderful view of the dirty void between the drop ceiling and the roof. We gathered our things and i got the attention of a lady walking around that seemed to be in charge but in regular clothes. Instead of telling her about the food i chose to mention the flies and the building. She apologized and said she had no clue where they were coming from or why they couldn't get rid of the flies after extensive cleaning, that was unnoticeable i may add, and she didn't know what else to do. I decided to make a drive around the building as we left because the first thing you check and monitor in a fly situation is "is there a door or window open" the back door was indeed open. Apparently this lady was the GM.

UPDATE: It continuously has a change in employees. Suggest you be prepare to "nurse" your drink as it takes them forever to give a refill. 3 waitresses and 2 cooks and 2 other patrons, but took forever to get a coffee refill. Went from 3 to 2 stars. Better than last time, but still can use improving. Luckily there were no customers around or busy with only 2 employees.

My waitress looked upset every time I asked for something. The food was cold so I sent it back. The grits was still cold and the eggs luke warm when she brought me a new plate. I had been going to this Huddle House for six years. It used to have quick service and very good food. Not anymore.

I only gave it a 1 since their was no lower option.. over 30 min to get our food with only one other family of 3 in the place. Not sure what the problem is but it must be serious.

If you like burgers. Order the extreme cheese burger. Although not on the menu, it can be made upon request.
