They were busy. Had to wait a few minutes for a table. Waited much longer for my food, probably about 45 mins. My cheeseburger was dry with too much bread in the bun, and my fries were not much more than room temperature. The waitress never offered to bring me a refill on my Mt. Dew. I was disappointed all around.

If you haven't eaten at Pop's you are missing out. We eat there frequently and love the food and the people.
I wouldn't recommend this place. The food wasn't good at all. Lumpy no tasting grits. Waitresses got mad when asked to get butter or other condiments. It was not a pleasant experience. The blond behind the counter was rude. As well, as the older waitress that looked like she just came out of drug court. The young lady w/ brown hair pictured was okay. The place wasn't very clean & the menu is limited without ingredients listed. I can't have cinnamon & they made my French toast with cinnamon. Disappointed. I believe in supporting small business,but no one that doesn't appreciate your business.

Our 1st visit we went in about 1 p.m. I got Mashed potatoes Mac and cheese and my mom got chicken and dressing and an apple pie she said the dressing was okay ... none of the food was hot and the Mac and cheese straight from a box! Everyone was friendly very inviting place just hate the food wasn't up to par.. the lady behind the counter assembling food had no gloves on! We ask for coffee both coffee cups with rings on the inside with cold coffee the waitress didn't even wash it !!!! I was disgusted ! Everyone has a different experience but this was ours today !!! I really wanted to like it , but hygiene in a food establishment should be #1!!! The pie wasnt bad either , but we left our food and the nasty coffee cups with cold coffee on the table and not 1 person asked why !!!!!!

We love this place. Always friendly service and great food. The fried pork chops are like mom use to make. The desserts are the best around. And now that we have fall weather the porch will be a great spot.
