We stopped Thursday, April 18th. The food and service was great. So glad we took the time to eat here. Prices were good. Very nice experience. If we are ever close by again, we will stop and eat again!

Waitress was ok but other than that the whole experience was awful. The worst food I've eaten in a long time from a restaurant that is supposed to have great food. Also the prices are outrageous.

We had the lunch specials and they were not good at all. Paid $50 for food that we couldn't eat. Hardly any flavor to the food. Very expensive lesson.

This was our second time to eat here because food is pretty good. The waitress was great except she never came back to check on us - it was very busy so understandable. The hostess was great. All were smiling and friendly. However, I ordered a baked potato and received a baked sweet potato. When I told the cashier I received the wrong item NO apology, no acknowledgement. She only said uh huh and continued to ring up our meal.

Called Mom's Kitchen to place a To-Go order today (Saturday, December 16, 2023) at 4:37 p.m. I waited and waited and could hear everything going on but noone came back on the phone. My husband left the house and said that he was going to go ahead and for me to place the order whenever they came back on the phone. 23 minutes and 45 seconds later, my husband walked in letting them know that I was still on the phone waiting for them.

I want to first state that the food was spectacular! But the service was by far some of the worst I’ve ever experienced there. We were not greeted at our table for at least five minutes while all of the waitresses catered to their tables and passed our table up. We were at the table sitting right where the servers enter an exit the kitchen. I had to turn around and stare at the people in the kitchen to get anybody’s attention. We were not greeted with a friendly smile, or even a “ Sorry about that wait, how are you guys doing today?” We were greeted with “what can I get you to drink?” In a very rude manner, she rolled her eyes as we finish telling her our drinks when she walked away. She proceeded to slam our drinks on the table, forget straws, and just make the overall encounter miserable. When I asked for straws, she was annoyed that I bothered to ask her. I was never rude to her, even though I could’ve been. When we ordered food, she mumbled when asked any questions, and appeared overall annoyed. We got our food and everything was wonderful! The food was not the issue. We finished, went to pay, and contemplated why she was so unhappy to be at her job. A warm, friendly personality is how you pay your bills when you are a server. If, or when I return, and she is our server, I’ll be glad to ask for somebody else. She received no tip on my end, and I was a server for seven years. To receive no tip from me means you did an absolute horrible job. Do not show up to work with a miserable attitude. I would fire her in a heartbeat, if that was my restaurant. I’m upset that I didn’t get her name because I would’ve gladly put it in this review. Brown haired lady with glasses, you truly were the worst. Serving is not for you.

We stopped here for lunch today. Very nice home cooking restaurant. Good southern food with a good variety. They even have liver and onions which is a rarity these days. The staff was friendly and served fairly quickly. Prices were reasonable. I order a "senior" meal of fried fish and fries and hush puppies. Ample quantity and pretty good. The restroom was clean and tidy. I'll be returning and trying the liver or maybe breakfast which they serve all day.

Wish I took pics. Everything looked great. Everyone was sooo friendly. I got the fried shrimp plate. I got green beans and Mac and cheese for my sides. Everything came out hot and fast. Loved the shrimp but the sides needed seasoning. Mac and cheese was creamy though. It was are first time going. Husband got the rib steak sandwich with double fries. He liked it but said the patty could have been just a little thicker. It was pretty thin. I tried the fries, those where great. Will be going back to try something different.
