It felt just like I was back home at my grandma’s house and enjoying the wonderful food that she made from scratch. Everything was so warm and homey. Thank you for taking me back again and giving me such a wonderful crew of cooks and servers!

Strange experience on a Saturday afternoon. Opted for the Country Fried Steak, eggs, hash brown casserole, biscuits and gravy. The Country Fried Steak was great, hot, and edible. The eggs and hash brown casserole came out cold. Not just kinda warm, but cold. The biscuits came out warm, but no gravy. They weren't busy. This was just people not paying attention. I let the server know, and replacement eggs and casserole were brought out... warmer, and hot gravy for the biscuits, but by that time, it was time to go. I paid, planning on leaving a 15% tip, using the phone camera on the receipt's QR code. Then the young, bearded manager came by with a new receipt where he had taken my meal off. Phone camera option no longer worked, so I had to pay at the counter. After a ridiculously long wait, counter clerk couldn't figure it out, so the same bearded manager came to her aid and told me that I just paid for my meal, and the other two meals were taken off, and all was good. Have a nice day. A day later, I looked at my credit card status, and the original ticket, all three meals, and 15% tip were charged.
We've eaten here before, and had no problems. This was a first, and I understand mistakes happen, which is why I didn't mind paying for the whole meal, plus tip. The manager's gesture was nice, but in the end, was just theater. Guessing there's been some turnover, there. It'll be a while before we go back to this particular Cracker Barrel. They apparently need time to unscrew themselves.

I had the grandmas sampler. The bacon was fatty and definitely not as good as what I have had on previous visits.

This was a delivery order. I didn't receive the box of Moon Pies that I ordered. This is the 2nd time I got a partial order. The rest of the order and food and delivery process was excellent.

We got a to go order by using the Cracker Barrel app. When we picked up our food and drove home, we realized a plate was left out. I called the restaurant to get a refund and the person I spoke with was RUDE. I asked for a refund and she hung up on me and there has been no refund.

Our waitress, Brenda, was very friendly and made us feel right at home. The was good as usual. We tried the strawberry cheesecake pancakes.
Parking: The restaurant always has ample parking. I have never had a problem finding parking.

it's generally fine if you eat in. the food is decent and usually hot and you get what you order.
but y'all get a 2 star for your inability to follow instructions for to go orders. and for some reason, the amount of food one gets when ordering out is SIGNIFICANTLY less than when you eat there. every single time we order out the amount of food is abysmal and certainly not what you'd get ordering there, plus they always mess something up. if i paid extra for some strawberries and it's in the order y'all should make sure i get those strawberries.
this is not the first time we've had an issue with to go orders. even the eggs are small, and idk how y'all manage that. there's 3 tiny spots of powdered sugar, which always comes with french toast so i'm not sure what happened there.
i don't know, it makes me not even want to eat in if y'all can't ever manage to properly construct to go orders.

I heard a few months ago that Cracker Barrel got a new CEO and was going to make the experience of visiting a restaurant very exciting, by updating all the stores interior, menu and service. Well the menu was slashed of options. The servings size was definitely of smaller sizes.
That use to be our go to restaurant, for breakfast, but no longer! we ended up leaving after our first cup of coffee and went to a competitor after some of the items we normally get were no longer available

Only complaint I have is that your chopped steak was no longer on the menu and that is what my mother and I wanted for dinner last night.
