I have been meeting a friend here for a long time now, often two or three times a month. We were so disappointed when we found out that everything had changed—the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We loved coming and ordering their luscious breakfasts served to us on plates with silverware with impeccable service. Today, we could only order bakery items and beverages served to us in styrofoam containers and paper cups, handed to us after our order was called out—“pumpkin muffin, warmed?”. We just raised our hand from our table to have our order handed to us. The service was hurried and impersonal, which was another disappointment. We decided we were not coming back because of the “rebranding” of the bakery. My opinion is that this new look does not look good at all!

On a rare day of vacation I found this bakery. Service was spot on, and the choices were tasty. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely love stopping in for a cappuccino and a cinnamon roll ❤️! The sweets are amazing, the coffee is great, but the staff and atmosphere are incredible! Stop by and try for yourself.

We ordered two pastries, an iced coffee and an iced americano. Despite asking for an iced coffee and the cashier reading our order back as an iced coffee they rang me up for an iced latte. My $7.50 drink was basically just a cup of oat milk with a splash of coffee. They brought my husband out a 12 oz drink when he ordered 16 oz. They quickly brought out a new one which was still not full and seems like it had milk added to it. We definitely won’t be back. Very disappointing visit.

Went to have lunch. I am a cripple so my friend walked up and asked the personal if they would be waiting on our table. She got the answer , yes. Then the employees stood around and continued to play and talk. 7 minutes later a girl walks over and says you need to order from the counter, I said we just asked if you would wait our table and was told yes. She said sorry, no. It also was very unhandicap friendly, could hardly get in the door, too heavy and steps don’t have the handrails. So I’d say they are disability discriminatory . Another visit, waitress was informed of nut allergy. Patron was served nuts and ended up in ER in anaphylaxis shock. Her throat closed!!!!!! Think twice before going in this restaurant. Saddest part is we were the only patrons in restaurant at this time.

I sort of waffled between a 4 and a 5 but I really really enjoyed my experience here so I'll round up!

Came in for a bite after work last week. It was later in the afternoon (like 2ish) so the restaurant was fairly quiet when I entered. It's located on a corner as you enter Hartselle's downtown area. I always find parking to be challenging around Main Street, so I parked in a large lot about two blocks down and just walked over to not have to battle with traffic and parallel parking.

The inside is beautiful and has a first and second floor. The vibe is pretty much perfect; it reminds me a little of a bistro, with sort of a classical aura but without tackiness or over-grandiosity. The music selection matched the ambiance perfectly. There are lovely large windows and cozy as well as more traditional seating options.

I walked my way back to the counter, passing the beautiful baked goods, where I was asked if I'd like a lunch menu or coffee and a pastry. When I indicated I wanted to eat lunch, I was encouraged to sit and relax and let them grab me a menu and a drink.

The service was lovely all around; I was checked on plenty and they seemed genuinely concerned about whether or not I enjoyed myself (I did)! They were also very helpful and friendly when I placed a to go order for some pastries for later. Sweet and charming conversationalists!

The sweet tea I had to drink was legit some of the best tea I've had in a long time. I know they offer Piper and Leaf tea and I wonder if it was their take on Front Porch Special. I love that tea. At any rate, it was perfectly sweet and flavorful.

I ordered the pimento cheese BLT. They have upgraded side options for an extra charge but I was content with the kettle chips. The sandwich was made on a nice soft but chewy bread -- sourdough? -- and the smoked Gouda pimento cheese had just enough smoke. The bacon was absolutely delicious, crispy and so flavorful. The lettuce was more of a mix and I enjoyed that as opposed to just romaine.

Truly my only criticism of lunch is I wish that the bread would've been toasted, or that I'd been offered the opportunity to have it toasted. I'd wished for a little warmth on my sandwich.

I got a kitchen sink type of cookie and a white chocolate raspberry scone to go for a treat later. These didn't knock my socks off quite as much as lunch did, but both were enjoyable, the cookie especially. Lots of goodies inside and a good balance of chewy and crispy. I could've gone for a little more both raspberry and white chocolate, but my husband really liked it -- he said it tasted like a fancy poptart lol.

Overall, I really really enjoyed my visit here. We have friends in Hartselle and I will happily recommend and return when able!

Quaint, beautiful place! Plenty of seating. Some fun shopping, gift type items, including baked treats. Croissants were delicious with fresh cooked eggs and bacon. Cappuccino was delicious also. Would love to bring my girlfriends here!

Met a friend for a late breakfast. I’d been once befit but only had coffee. Hade the croissant with apricot jam and it was delicious. The staff is wonderful and it’s a place you want to linger in and drink your coffee slowly and just BE!

The cutest little cafe with the most delicious sweet treats! We love their fudge, cakes and pastries anytime we’re in the Hartselle area.

Liberty took my order for a cappuccino and was super nice. She suggested I add peppermint flavoring to the coffee and it was great!
Very good experience
