I had my 30th birthday party at Pizza Ed in Guntersville, and everyone was fantastic!! Shay was our server and just exceeded any expectations of a server one may have. This is one our all time favorite pizza places! The sourdough crust has such developed flavor and the plum tomato sauce is light and flavorful. This place uses quality ingredients which makes the difference! We had the breadstcks, which were a dinner roll consistency and weren't my favorite. We came here for the deep dish pizza. Service was great. The pizza had a great taste. The outside crust was almost burned but was ok. After waiting 30 minutes I expected to have to wait a few minutes to eat due to a hot, hot pizza. But the inside of the pizza was not hot at all. Actually cool in a few of the bites. My thought is that the pizza was cooked at too high of a temperature and the outside got almost over done while the inside did not get finished cooking.
