Sonic in Hartselle has really gone downhill. This was my BLT. Asked if I could just get another sandwich that was close to the same price and was told I would have to pay to get something else because they’re out of tomatoes and apparently low on lettuce🤣
They did refund me $3 but the sandwich was $4.79. I guess I’m paying for the bread and bacon🤣🤣 Manager was super rude for no reason.
Haven’t been to a sonic in a long time so I have it a try. Idk why they ask for a tip when theres actually less customer service / help then at Mcdonalds. You push a button on screen every time you want to talk to someone, and you have to open your door to use the card reader on the same machine.
The burger had two drops of sauce. Had to ring the button to get someone to come fix it. I asked for tomato’s and lettuce she said she would have to ask but didn’t and just gave me the burger back with a little more sauce.
Not making this up or exaggerating, it was the worst burger I’ve ever had. Equivalent to leaving patties on the grill and forgetting about them, then trying to eat them after when it’s super dry.

I asked for ranch 3 times and COURTNEY LIED to me and said it was in the bag when it was most definitely not!! My pickle tator toys where MID and needed that ranch but…ig I’ll never get to enjoy it.
The food was great but the worker Tamika is very rude. It's happened with me multiple times. I am young and sometimes don't have money for a tip. I clicked keep the change and Tamika came out and was very rude with handing me my food and she has gotten onto me about not giving a tip and i've explained to her sometimes i don't have the money to tip, very rude to young customers

Sonic in Hartselle, Alabama you never know what service you will get. Majority of the time they're extremely rude. My husband has said numerous times that they have cut him off even while ordering to tell him they know how to fix something. Decatur, Alabama is thankfully only 10 minutes away. My husband really doesn't mind driving 15 or 20 minutes longer to receive not only good food but also good service.

This place used to be great but wouldn't recommend to anyone have been here several times since they have redid this place and they can never get my order right now you gonna order a cheeseburger and bacon toaster and forget the bacon. My husband hates this place and now I see why

My daughter placed two orders and having to use two different ways to purchase the two separate orders which wouldn't allow her to pay with a card. This young man whom I will not post his name out of respect simple because i just want it to be known it’s not appreciated however it was the one who took out her order and threw his hands up and the air in disgust that my daughter didn’t pay with a card prior to him bringing the order out to her. She could not pay with a card because the machine wouldn’t allow her considering she was using two different cards with two separate orders. His demeanor was not acceptable and a complaint will be called in. This wasn’t the first he was unpleasant with his words but this time he took it to a whole new level.

I've eaten here on multiple occasions. The prices are competitive, my orders have always been correct, and the food has always been good. However, this time, they were WAY under-staffed. I placed a small order and it was 24 minutes before it arrived. As I waited, I watched the staff, and everyone appeared to be working at a high pace. After 20 minutes, I requested a refund but was told the order was on the way. As I observed, I saw a total of three workers, which was simply not enough for a Saturday night.
HIRING MANAGER: You need more people. While I waited, I watched three vehicles drive away without receiving an order. I would have been another if I was not told it was on the way. The young woman working the stalls was nearly running constantly. Hire some workers, make your current employees' lives better, get happier customers, get better Google reviews. The lost revenue is more than the cost of more employees.

Don’t bother using the app when it’s raining they will ask you to move stalls closer to the building to keep them from getting wet. Even then you they may just chunk your food anyway.

Don’t waste your time with these folks. Just go to Decatur or Cullman and save yourself the stress. I’ve never been treated so horribly.
