The food was so good.I had the Patty melt and let me tell you that baby was on point!!! The fries are awesome! My kids had the Buffalo tenders and they loved them!We came back the next day for breakfast It was good also Ms.Tracie Hobbs I think she told me her name is can throw down in the kitchen.I told her my husband is a Chef and we also have a cooking show on Facebook.Southern cooking with Lil M&M and family did a food review and gave Cassie's Cafe in Hazel Green a 10 and 5 stars!!!!!!

A busy local spot, had catfish it was tasty, wish i had gotten more on my plate. No fancy frills here, but friendly staff, quick service, and food was good. Kids tenders were large in size, got dessert with our order and each was home made deliciousness!!!

This is just plain and simple a good ole' country restaurant. The staff feel like family and the customers like friends you have known your whole life. Sometimes the best things in life are so simple and this restaurant is one of them .

My wife & I, stopped by for lunch today. There were two specials (both $9): Country fried steak & catfish fillet - both came w/choice of 3 veggies. We both ordered the catfish, extra crispy. The fillets were cooked to order w/a nice & crispy cornmeal coating; fish was very moist. The veggies (got some hushpuppies, too): White corn, pinto beans, peaches (a fruity veggie!), Cole slaw, macaroni & potato salads. Let me single-out the mac salad: It was chocked-full of goodies and was very good - whoever is making the mac salad at Cassie's, PLEASE DO NOT lose that recipe! The staff was friendly, one of the server's had a bad headache and my wife gave her something to take for it. The customers seem to really enjoy eating at Cassie's.....it's just good ol' Southern hospitality w/a family-style feel. If you're ever passing through Hazel Green, AL and your stomach is growling, don't stop at a fast food restaurant, head into Cassie's and get some cooking that will please your taste buds and will remind you of cooking your Grandma & Momma, fix-up!Larry & Joni Hyatt, Huntsville, AL
Me and the wife been going here for the past 13 yrs its more of Farmer church going folks very respectful luv hearing the stories that has been told over the yrs luv the food can't complain nothing beats homemade food its never failed where they give out free slice of cake I love this place more then we can express services is always been a1 we ain't never in no hurry when their packed. If you like home cooked meals and want sit and hear some good stories or jokes from the old folks this the place ...
