We are so lucky to have this place in Hazel Green! For years this place has consistently offered delicious, fresh food. The portions are also generous. For less than $20 I can get enough soup and lo mein to make myself 3 big meals. The family who owns this business is obviously the ones preparing the food because it shows in the quality of what you get.Parking: Location is a strip mall that shares parking with a grocery store and another free-standing business, so there is ample parking.Kid-friendliness: This is a family-operated restaurant with a normal non-alcoholic or smoking environment, so it is perfect for families with kids. The dining area is NOT big, so larger groups may not prefer it. However for groups or say 6 or less it's just fine.Wheelchair accessibility: This location is in a strip mall and there is a ramp on the curb as well as curb-side handicap parking. Easy access for wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

The food is great, and the service is fast. Friendly people. Restaurant seemed clean. I've only gotten take out from here.

Ordered Mongolian chicken 1/12/24. Noticed it said spicy. Asked for little spicy which either translated to very spicy or chef dumped out entire spice jar. It is not edible. Called & was told they have a new chef. Taste your food before you leave if picking up. Love this place but today’s experience is horrible. I would put 0 stars on food if possible.

Recently moved to Hazel Green, AL. Found this place and my boyfriend & I love it here. Great food and atmosphere ??. I love how my noodles came out, not to dry not to drowning in the sauce just right & the veggies were good too:

Best Chinese food in town. I always order delivery and it’s always great. Love the black pepper chicken and kung pao. Egg rolls are great—not too greasy. Wontons are a little sweeter than I prefer but they don’t skimp on filling.

I love the egg rolls, but it's a hit or miss with lo mein. Sometimes it taste slightly burnt.

Hole in the wall mom and pop place. Food is ok and what you get when you’re in a small town. No Michelin stars here but it will do. Place could use a good deep clean.

Decided to try more places in the area and found this one. Good fair prices, huge portions, quick service, and friendly staff.

There is always hair in our food. This time it was in the eggroll. Please wear hair nets when cooking. It's as simple as that.

This place is a step above your average chinese takeout place. Like most, They don't have much space for dining in, their menu is pretty typical of your usual chinese delivery/takeout. Where you start to see the difference is the staff. There is another china cafe over on Jeff rd with a rather permanent disgruntled demeanor and ragged look to them. I've only ever seen two people at a time in that other resaurant and maybe a child or two behind the counter. This is they usual i've come to expect in my 36 years. This china cafe, however, has plenty of staff behind the counter. They're usually well dressed, and happy to spare a smile even though they're usually very busy. Ordering by phone was quick and easy, and the food was ready when i got there 10 minutes later. The food also sets them a star above the rest. While it's the same menu items, the difference is easily tasted in the items recieved. Their crab rangoon, while i suspect they aren't actually crab, is still delightful and works perfectly with the sweet and sour sauce. We got everything we asked for, napkins, fortune cookies, and full to the brim portion sizes. I did have to take a star off for the forgotten cutlery unfortunately. I didn't need it, but if i had that's definitely a ding on an otherwise delightful experience. 4 stars for food.Atmosphere is going to be tough in any place so small. I'd say the place is pretty typical for a 'fast food' chinese restaurant, with the dining area being an afterthought. Not much else to say about that. 3 stars for atmosphere.Last thing i'll speak on is price. Price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food we got. 2 combo dinners, 2 orders of crab rangoon, 2 extra chicken egg rolls came to a total of 36 bucks and change.I will say DO NOT get door dash if you eat here as they will straight up lie about the menu item original price. Door dash said 46$ before taxes when i paid 36 and change at the restaurant. You'll end up paying DOUBLE with the non-optional tip as you would just driving to get it.
