The food is very good here. I have gotten the chance to live in multiple cities and this little restaurant is a gem. Surprisingly enough, the sushi and the hibachi each time we've ordered here has been really good. I have no complaints at all pertaining to this restaurant.

This is my first and last time ordering from here. If I could give it -1000 stars, I would.First of all, whoever that woman is behind the counter is horrendously rude, I’ve never had someone in customer service, let alone anyone at all EVER be that rude to me. Got smart with me when all I said was ‘Hi, I have a pickup order’ after her walking up and just staring at me. She gestured to look around the room and said, “we have a lot of orders, what kind of order.” Told her it was all sushi. MAYBE ASK FOR MY NAME first like ANY other restaurant does. Oh yeah, no one asked for my name over the phone, just hung up after I told them what I wanted. No total, no inquiry for my name.The other two just stare at you as you stand there awkwardly, with no one greeting you or asking what you’re there for. Good god, it’s like none of them want customers.Oh yeah, and the food is less than mediocre. In particular, the egg nigiri is bad. Your food isn’t good enough to warrant that terrible attitude. I hope you read this and feel as bad as you made me feel.

I went there tonight on highway 431/231 Meridianville Al. The food was to salty but I didn't complain. I ate a little then got a to go box after paying almost 16.00. As I was leaving they had a bowl of dum dum suckers so I took some for my grandbabies the girl I guess the owner jumped up and said no no that's too many. I got 4 of them. I left went to my car and thought really omg! I went back in and put them back in the bucket and said I will buy my own dum dum suckers. sad to lose Two customers over a 2 cent suckers. That was so rude and embarrassing. will not be supporting their restaurant again

The reviews at this location MUST be fake. There's no chance. This restaurant is FILTHY. Wife and I came here with the intention to eat the sushi. Didn't even get seated before we left. Very dirty. I don't wonder if we saved ourselves from food poisoning. I know we did.

I love the food here, the flavor is comparable to I love Sushi but the price is much less expensive. The atmosphere is casual so it's perfect to just stop in anytime! (This place makes the best coconut chicken and kani salad.)

I was willing to look over the storage food being exposed in the dinning area or the designated dinning booth for more restaurant items/produce. Reviews were great and pictures looked awesome. Payed $37 for a meal that after tasting we knew would probably lead to food poisoning. Order the miso soup, lukewarm and salty like the Dead Sea. Ordered the cream cheese wontons, cold but alright. Ordered the seasame chicken 3/10 like warm and slimy. The rice that came with it tasted old and moldy. The sushi I ordered ‘ the American ‘ something roll was by far the worst sushi I have ever had. I promise that gosh alone would be enough o close this shop down. I am telling you room temperature, chewy fish that felt tasted alright when you doused It with soy sauce. I have no idea how they manage to have this bad of a food and still be as busy as they were. Horrible horrible we ended up just throwing away the rest of our fear. Do NOT come here

How on earth is this even rated 4 stars???? The only thing dare I say that was average was the California roll. This is definitely the worst Japanese style food I've ever had. Chicken & beef teriyaki had no taste the meat was dry and both the chicken and beef look like they are pre-made maybe even already cooked and then they just dump gobes of sauce on it like a Swanson meal. My wife took one bit of her chicken udon noodle plate said the broccoli tasted like fish and didn't eat another bite. Now there is an art to fried rice and it's difficult to find good fried rice. But theirs is below average. Anybody can take rice dump soy sauce all over it and say here's fried rice. If if I only had spent $29 and not $129 probably could care less. But 4 different entrees 3 different sushi rolls and 6 different people all said it wasn't good. Which makes me seriously question how this place has 4 stars, yelp seems to be a poor resource.

OMG! My teen will ONLY eat take out or eat in here. We can't order anywhere else for her because she only trust them! Manty is so sweet and everyone in there always has it clean, fresh and prepared your food where you can see it! When she sees us pull up it's like we made her day! More places should take notes on how to run a business from Sukura in Hazel Green! Seriously
