Grilled shrimp is WONDERFUL, with a slight spice to it. LOVE the sweet potato fries! Crab claws are awesome! Hush puppies are very good! The owner is a nice man and seems to care about his place too. Will be back !

Really good lunch specials. Today I had the 1/2 lb of shrimp (blackened) with blackened potatoes & salad. The price for the lunch special was $14.95 and it was so good. Lot of locals eat lunch there.

What a disappointment!! We heard great things about, The Grill. Ordered the ribeye, medium with blackened red potatoes, side salad, fried shrimp and a cup of chili. The steak: zero seasoning, texture of a flip flop and did not taste fresh. Blackened new potatoes: seasoned with Tony S. seasoning. Side salad: ok, the dressing was good like made in house. The shrimp: rubbery, pre-battered out of a bag and fried way too long. The gulf is 80 miles away. Fresh shrimp should be easy. The chili: yuk again zero seasoning The service: the wait staff were way too interested in their phone apps and talking. Then took the staffs coffee order for the coffee shop down the street. Needless to say we will not be return customers.

The bf and I stopped in, for his birthday, after leaving Dothan. I wanted a place with fried crab claws, according to him, they did not disappoint. He was very happy with his steak and I loved my seafood combo platter with the fried shrimp and grilled scallops. Fried pickles were good. Chairs weren't comfortable, service was good enough.
Awesome handmade beefy burgers. The onion rings and special sauce did not disappoint. On our scenic drive to Columbus, GA. The oysters that everyone one around us were eating were said to be the best around.

The Grille is always busy. Food is good and service is outstanding.
Been here many times to give it a chance but it's been hot garbage for years at this point. They wildly change how much they season things - either it tastes ok or it has had salt dumped all over it. Service has gotten worse and worse. Last time we ordered fried mushrooms they came out still frozen solid in the middle, sent it back and they put it in the fryer until they were burnt and then they brought them back after the meal was over while huffing about it and never offering to take it off the bill. Also the water always tastes bad, everybody who eats there notices. This place does not remotely deserve its high rating on google.
