If you have not tried Hwy Cafe in Heflin you are missing out. I had the HWY Cafe Smash Burger with bacon, cheese and an egg with onion rings. My husband had the Smash Cheese Burger with onion rings. Their burgers are homemade and So very good. They also have daily specials and breakfast in the morning. We will definitely be going back. Very good atmosphere with super friendly owner and staff.

The best smash burger, real ground beef patty mashed on a large bun and all the trimming s it's a must try if you are a hamburger fan. You need to be hungry as its a lot of burger.

Food never fails to leave me satisfied, I come in and am instantly greeted. The prices are also pretty cheap so that's a bonus too. I come here all the time now because I'm yet to find anything better near heflin.
