Trust me when I say this is the best stop for coffee or lunch between Atlanta and Birmingham! My husband and I stopped with our 7-month old daughter and enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich (so good) on gluten free bread and a club sandwich. The owner was such a joy to talk to and has thoughtfully designed the space and menu. Lots of boards games and even a kids coloring table! This will forever be our little pitstop for a bite to eat on the road. A great experience all around!

When we went to the rythem café it was a wonderful experience. The shop owner is kind and inviting, and the food/drinks are made fresh. This establishment would be a lovely place to take your family or even just yourself.

The cutest coffee shop!! Was in the area, wanted breakfast and saw a review that said they had gluten free bread. The breakfast sandwich was heavenly…the bread, amazing, couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. The coffee was delicious too!! The owner was the sweetest and such a joy to talk to. He also told us that they will be getting some seasonal gf donuts soon so I will be going back asap for those!! :)☕️🥪

The cafe was cozy and quaint. For drinks we americanos, which we enjoyed. They had local honey available that we added to our coffees. For food we had a Mississippi pot roast sandwich, which was one of their limited time specials and was SO delicious!
They had gluten-free bread and bakes too which is a big plus for me!
The owner Shane is welcoming and friendly and makes us feel at home at the cafe. Will definitely drop by again if I’m in the area!

Such a kind and fantastic owner!
Great turkey rueben and good conversation with the owner Shayne while we ate. A real bright spot in the Heflin community. Easy to get to off the interstate or if you’re passing through Heflin on the SEBDR, and not too far from the WM grocery if you’re hiking the Pinhoti Trail.

We needed a quick lunch passing through on I 20 and found this place. Had a club sandwich and a muffletta. The muffletta was great; ham, salami, and an olive sauce. All delicious!

Rhythm Café is an absolute gem! The coffee was brewed to perfection(me and my boyfriend got the Americano Iced & hot), and the 9-5 breakfast sandwich was delicious & super filling—exactly what we needed to start the day. We also tried the pound cake muffin & the cinnamon roll muffin, Yumm! The shop itself has the cutest Dolly Parton music theme, adding a fun and nostalgic vibe to the café. Sean, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As visitors from out of state, we truly appreciated how informative he was—he gave us amazing local tips on nearby hikes, waterfalls, and even other great spots to grab a bite. You can tell he really cares about his town and making everyone feel at home.
While we were there, local musician Rebekah Gilbert was performing live. She actually grew up in Heflin and went to high school with Sean, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and community-driven. The small-town atmosphere, the music, the décor- 10 out of 10 would recommend if you’re in the area or passing through. Rhythm Café is the kind of place that makes you value small towns a whole lot more.

It has been a very long time since I have been impressed enough to write a review. The location is kind of out there , but if you can find the WM in Heflin just look to your left.
The pound cake muffin is good enough to put on a bucket list. I was in heaven. Everything is made from scratch. I can vouch for the chicken salad sandwiches on croissants as well. My husband had an amazing salad as well.
There was one guy who drove out from Atlanta it is so good.
The proprietor, Shayne is a wonderful asset. Very personable and the best customer service that I believe I have ever had.
DONT MISS THIS PLACE!!
