We absolutely loved this place! The food was so good, everything was delicious! Everyone working there was so friendly and made sure to give plenty of food for each plate. If we go back thru this area, we will definitely be back there again.
We visited on a Sunday . The menu had alot of choices . I tried the turkey and dressing wirh gravy, turnip greens and speckled butter beans. My husband had mac and cheese , fried chicken , fried okra , candied yams. The place is set up in a line and you make choices the servers make your plate. They are trying to get you through the line quickly which I understand but some of the ladies are really rude..The turkey , beans and greens were good . The dressing has no seasoning ....
This is a place you go to get authentic Alabama cuisine served family style. Welcoming service and a relaxed diner feel that way completely refreshing compared to big chain restaurants. Price was great and food was delicious as well cooked. Definitely recommending this place .
