Mi Casita Mexican Restaurant Hokes Bluff

Don’t trust previous reviews. Place has been terrible for years. I gave them another chance todag 10/18/2025 and… Nope. Same crap as always. Called and ordered a LARGE CHEESE DIP AND MEDIUM SALSA. Was told 18.00. Wife gets there, the large cheese dip was actually a small. She goes back in and is charged ANOTHER 6 dollars, and given a large cheese dip that is cold. Had to heat it up at home. Also the charged on her card are higher than what she was told she was being charged. I am Convinced greg keeps this place open to write off losses. It’s a joke. $25 for chips and salsa and a cheese dip? I’m the one who lost here. Lost my money and my appetite.

They are open again!! (Google is a liar,lol.) I know some reviews from previous years are bad but they have new staff and it is so good!! Everything is better and the cheese and salsa are really good! Please please give them a try again!

Food was ok but it was 90 degrees outside and 89 inside the restaurant

My son and I went there to eat lunch my taco salad came out cold couldn't eat it and I was surprised when she told us we had to.pay for it after she took it back to the kitchen cost us almost $40 for our lunch not happy at all the second meal i.orxrr couldn't eat it paid for w meals and still left hungry

My wife and I got subway (both restaurants are in the same plaza) and we didn’t want to eat inside so we sat in the truck to eat. Well the owner or manager came out and threatened to call the cops if we didn’t leave. We stayed and finished our food and the cops never even showed up. We don’t eat at this Mexican restaurant anyways because the food and service are terrible. I don’t know how they’ve been in business this long with the way they treat people.

Salsa was watery and flavorless. Food was sparse and flavorless. Not up to Micasita standards.

Okay, 1st of all, we show up on a Sunday after church, and the parking lot is empty. That should have been a red flag. 2nd, they have no air and a fan blowing hot air around, which should have been our 2nd red flag. We order our drinks, and out of 5, they only get 2 correct. We ask for them to be corrected, and they bring wrong drinks again. We order our food, and they bring out 4 out of 5 plates. They finally came out with the 5th plate about 6 minutes later but took it to a different table (there were only 2 tables in the whole place), and I spoke up and said, "That's my food..." she brings it to me and apologizes. We get our ticket and realize we have been overcharged. We ask for a menu so we can add it up, and she remarks under her breath, "Price is right. Nothing is wrong! No complaints!"
We add it up and get 10 dollars less than what they had on the ticket. The lady proceeds to argue with us and says, "Price is right! You pay 80 dollars, and it's father day so no arguing!!" We told her we want to pay what we owe. We told her we know you charged for 5 drinks, and we only ordered 4, the other was water. She said, "No! Price is right!" We paid what she said and left. We will not be back. We also informed them that our son had to use the toilet sitting on the rim because it was missing the toilet seat, and she said, "You have too many complaints!" Sorry, I didn't know that having a proper toilet seat on a public restroom was a complaint. ??‍♀️

Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options! My personal fave is enchiladas Verdes!

Don't waste your time, the food is not good and the lady running the place is mean and always charges more than what the food is priced !

The food was ok but I go to mi Casitas all over the place this was by far the worse the food was ok but for the price was missing alot of sides. The restaurant looked clean but the server she was horrible very rude and actually told me I could go somewhere else when I asked why my food is expensive. I asked for more chips and salsa being we had three people with one small bottle and she got very angry. Finally brought more salsa and its was 10 times hotter than the one before pretty sure she done it on purpose

Check your bill against the menu. They overcharge everybody on purpose.

The cleanliness is very bad they have roaches and bugs and the service is equally as bad I wouldn't recommend them to anyone
