Where to start. We grew up eating Mud Creek and Bud's. I'm not sure what they have done to the meat but it's definitely different. The sauce.... The thicker sauce on the table needs to go in the garbage. My husband did say the only thing they haven't messed up was the fries. If you grew up like us you know the disappointment.

We had great service and enjoyed the BBQ and catfish and shrimp. Lots of sides and hushpuppies! We had six in our group and our server did great on refills and nearly had to carry us to the car after eating so much. We enjoyed it all. Thanks!
Great place. Great view. Service slow. Complimentary hush puppies were a surprise, though not the best. 3/5 stars for BBQ sandwich but 5/5 stars for the fried and grilled shrimp. Will return!

Very good experience! My family has lived in the Deep South for generations, and I know very well what good catfish is, and it's easy to tell when someone doesn't know what they're doing. The folks here know exactly how catfish to be prepared and also make quality sites that are delicious and fill you up!Kid-friendliness: Good, casual atmosphere for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant

Horrible Customer Service!! I had the back room reserved for a party when booked they wrote my name down on the calendar for Monday the 26th. I sent out invitations to the party! Someone messaged me and confirmed the date with me because they thought they were closed on Mondays. I called this morning to confirm my reservation and the girl that answered the phone stated yes party for Emily on the 26th? I said yes and explained I was just confirming because someone questioned the invitation I sent out. The girl stated oh we are closed on Mondays let me speak with my manager. All I got was I'm sorry!! So now I have to figure out a place for a party and resend invitations!! Ridiculous! Lesson learned always check hours yourself because apparently the workers have no idea!! Do not recommend Mud Creek!

I stopped and got the catfish fillet. Figured since they were fillets, it would small so I ordered the large portion with 5 fillets. Boy was I wrong, they brought out enough fish to feed two people. The waitress was wonderful. Never felt that I was forgot about and the view of the lake behind the building is very peaceful. Also the hush puppies they bring out are wonderful.

Hidden gem on the river. The server was AWESOME! She was cheerful & helpful! Tried the combo with 2 meats. Fried Catfish filets, exactly what I was hoping for, so delicious. I really wasn't impressed with the pork, didn't have a taste to it & the texture was mushy. Tried both yellow (mustard) & white (mayo) slaw. They both were good. Fried okra was good & not over battered. Loved how they do hush puppies. The pork sandwich with white slaw is the other picture.
