BW in Hoover, AL is the absolute best! Our dinning experience was over the top as always! The food got us in the door, but the staff keeps us coming back again and again! Our waitress Lisa took good care of us!
Dined in at Big Whiskey tonight with my fiancée and everything was great. Our server Lisa took our experience over the top by offering food suggestions and simply being personable. She was a great addition to our dining experience and to this location. We will definitely be back!

I was so excited to visit this place and finally did last night. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed! They are way overrated, way overpriced and the service was absolutely horrendous to put it nicely. Waited for nearly 2 hours because we had a large group, only to not all be able to sit together. Those that was able to get their food (hint, hint) some were cold. Then the way it was handled, when a complaint was made could have been handled more professionally, especially since a couple never recieved their food (With the exception of 1 side salad). I would have left way earlier had I not been their for a family gathering. NEVER AGAIN will I go to a Big Whiskey Restaurant! All they literally care about is your money, not your experience.

We began with a 1.5 hr wait in the sun. Then we're told our tables ready. Mind you there are 16 of us here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We get in there and we are split into two tables. We could not converse between tables because of the distance. Food is coming out sporadically with nothing short of chaos. My Aunt and Uncle had to wait an additional 30 mins. for their food. Except their food never came because their order had not been put in. We are ending the evening everyone paying their bill. When suddenly my uncle is given a bill for $2.54. It was to cover his small salad he had while waiting on his food that was never going to come. We get management to come to our table. Nothing at all what we expected. He was very rude and smug. He tried to debate the situation rather than rectify it! He actually tried to make my uncle pay for the salad. He finally took it off their ticket but still charged them for their sweet tea.All in all, it was a horrible FIRST experience! We will NEVER go back!

Used to have the best 5 star Reuben sandwich….gone and the “Replacement” is a Reuben Wrap appetizer….nothing like the picture, all dough and cheese, one or bits of meat. For $10 it’s a total waste. Burgers still good but to bad they dumped some of the best items…Reuben, French Dip…

Had to party of 16 people, to people never got their food they only received a salad and sweet tea after an hour of waiting and back and forth with the server the manager tried to make them pay for their salad and said sorry but we took the price of a sweet tea off

When the shift change happened I didn't necessarily care for the server that took over due to her being slow about checking on my guests and myself. One guest to go drink never happened. My food was good and my appetizer was very good as well. This was my first visit.
Every time I visit Big Whiskey, the food is amazing. I have yet to dine in, but I have ordered here several times, and each time, I got something different. Each time, the food was amazing.
We came in an hour until closing as a group of 6. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our server was so nice and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. The food was sooo good!! Y’all MUST try this place if you haven’t already! I got the salmon and substituted potatoes for the rice pilaf ?
