The workers were really nice. The food was delicious and very large portions
We have been long time customers of Costas - over 30 years. This place has seriously gone down hill! I agree with the review that said they need a deep clean. While you wait for your food, looking around the windowsills are filthy and the whole place is overall just nasty! My glass had something on the inside and I had to request a fresh glass of water. The food was subpar - I always get the eggplant with spaghetti and it didn’t taste like it usually does - the spaghetti needed salt in the boiling water because it was totally flavorless! I usually look forward to taking home leftovers but only took the eggplant and left the spaghetti. We ask why the bread has been changed and the waitress said because it is cheaper - even the Mayor complained and the owner just ignores all the complaints. If you care about staying in business you need to make your customers happy! Look around… the place was practically empty at noon! It is a shame that we feel this way because you use to be the best Italian restaurant in town!

We go to Costa’s regularly because their food never disappoints! But I want to address the negatives: Manager/Owner, I’m not the first to write that the entire restaurant needs a deep cleaning!! The oil bottles and spices mix on the tables are really dirty. So are the ceiling fans. There is NO bartender so I wouldn’t advertise this because nobody knows how to mix a cocktail. I’ve also seen many people complain that the bread has been changed and I don’t care for it either! Please go back to the original bread! They need someone to bus tables and booths, and thoroughly wipe them clean in between customers. What we like: the salmon, lasagna, baked ziti, filet, rosemary potatoes, and steamed vegetables.

It was my family’s first time going there, although my parents are regulars.
We got there before 5:30 on a Saturday. It was steady but not in the weeds and they had plenty of workers presently staffed.
They don’t need to advertise on the menu a full bar because they cannot make an old fashioned. In fact, they told me after 30 minutes of waiting for it to be made, to pick something easier. So I got wine. No bartender either.
Our waitress sucked and we waited nearly 2 hours for our meal, had to get our own refills on water and soda.
My husband said we will not be back. It’s a shame because the pasta sauce was authentic and the food was really good. House dressing in salad was amazing. The atmosphere was a good vibe. Basically the manager had to wait on us because our waitress got lost.

Please bring back the original bread. It’s a huge factor when choosing which Italian place to go with. The new bread is not even close to your previous delicacy.

I order from here frequently for takeout and I go in person frequently as well, but the new bread change is just awful. It makes me never wanna order, it always just tastes stale

Literally have no complaints except the recent change in bread, why change one of the best things at your restaurant???? The new bread is chewy and has no taste. Seriously disappointed.

The service today was great and the meal was good - that said they have done away with the Fabulous Bread Sticks and replaced it with some sub par bread that isn't good at all. The salad and bread was a main part to why we enjoyed going so unless they go back to the good bread we may have to try something else. SAD DAY this has been one of our go to favorites for over 20 years. 🙁
This place has great food but they made a monumental mistake changing the bread. They used to have the best bread at any restaurant I've ever been to. It was a big reason why we would frequent here. It's basically the same bread as OG now.

Waitress was excellent, so was the other one because we were (all 7) watching. However, the owner should have been helping; he could have taken menu's to the tables, as well as utensils and napkins, while the very short-staffed 2 waitresses got drinks, took orders & delivered food to customers. Mr Nikki at Bright Star does the above, as well as picks up dishes to help his people. The 2 waitresses were also bussing their tables.....he could have helped with that.
Food was delicious, as always.
There needs to be some cleaning, but two waitresses did not have a free moment & should not be maids.
We have been a lot of times, and will go again, but one cook & 2 waitresses need help.
For many years our favorite restaurant but tonight i find out that they change the bread it was wrong idea mr joe can you please go back to the other bread and the waitress was unprofesional rude and chewing gum all the time
Love Costas Italian! Food is fresh! My family gets takeout often and it never disappoints!
Costa's has always been a staple for us in dining out. The food is always delicious and plentiful. On our last visit, we had to wait a very long time for our entrees, but the server was apologetic. However, it was definitely not his fault and the apology should have come from the management instead. The atmosphere needs a complete remodel. Or in the very least, a change in the flooring and seating. We will continue to dine at Costa's while hoping that things improve.
