Waitress was very friendly. We ordered the calamari to start - tasted yummy. The bread was fresh out of the oven and scrumptious. Several of us ordered the mousakka and it was wonderful. Husband had chicken parmigiana and loved his. Son had gyro plate and devoured his. Entire meal was totally awesome. We have been going for years and never a bad meal.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES! Should you be in the Hoover area any day or evening of the week other than Sunday, you owe it to yourself to visit this restaurant. When you enter, you'll feel as you are walking back in time. The restaurant appears not to have any updates in the past 50 years, but it doesn't matter. You won't come here for the atmosphere - you come here for the food and also the service. Last night my wife and I shared the baked spaghetti, salad and both had iced tea. Of course the delicious bread is included and our total bill including tax was $26. We ate and ate and took home a pound of baked spaghetti in a to go box! As good as the food was, our server Carrie was just that good. You'll feel welcome here and you'll want to come back again and again. 5 Stars plus!

Been eating at Costas's for years. Some of the best Italian food I've had. Portions are big. Service is great.
This place is excellent. It's ole school Italian so delicious. I love their spaghetti with meat sauce. The different homemade salad dressings are very good. The blue cheese or house vinegarette is so good. I get extra to take home and buy lettuce at the store then top with their salad dressing.
Hands down the worst Italian food I've ate. Tastes like they prepare it ahead of time, them microwave it to order. Also, the restaurant is ran down and dirty. Not a fan.
Super Great place! I really enjoyed my food! My waitress was super kind, helpful, and attentive. I came here because I knew they had Italian and it did not disappoint! The marinara sauce tasted amazing, the chicken was freshly cooked and delicious and the meals even came with bread and salads! I really enjoyed my food and will definitely be back!!
