We always get exceptional service when we come to this restaurant it’s clean and the food is consistently on point. Andy and Stacey did an incredible job of taking care of us. This is definitely the best restaurant in Hoover.

Firebirds has been a go-to stop any time I visit Birmingham over the years, but this most recent visit has taken it off my list permanently. First, and this is not the fault of our server at all, we had to return several plates and sets of silverware that had dried food still caked on them from not being washed properly. Second, the value has decreased significantly. I ordered from the new drinks menu wary of the raised prices but willing to see if it was worth it- both glasses had about three ounces of actual liquid in them past the ice for $13 and $16, a ridiculous price for the amount. The food is still good, but definitely not worth the price hikes. Third, the atmosphere has devolved. The music is too loud, making the restaurant and the crowd too loud. The classy quiet atmosphere is gone and the experience is now overstimulating and it’s hard to hear the people I came with at my own table. I appreciate the manager coming to apologize for filthy silverware, but the experience as a whole, combined with the changes in the atmosphere make it a subpar experience that’s no longer on my list of must-visits.

First of all I was highly disappointed that you no longer offer prime rib on weekdays as that was my reason I go to firebirds. Secondly I think waiters are stretched too thin to adequately deliver a satisfactory service. For instance with a table of six, empty glasses and plates piled up when space is already an issue . When asking the waiter to please remove them he said he would get them later. Thirdly I was told prior to coming that the fryer was down which did not cause too much anguish with my party. This does show however that something is wrong with maintenance management at the restaurant. So as a long time patron that spent over $400 on my party I will not be returning.

It has been 5 years since I last ate at Firebird's so a new rating is well overdue. We had dinner tonight in honor of my brother's retirement from AT&T and I was very pleased with the food and service. My Bleu Cheese Filet was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the accompanying mushrooms and baked potato were the perfect pairing. My wife enjoyed her Caesar Salad with fire roasted chicken and everyone else at the table commented on the quality of the food. After a round of desserts, we came away thoroughly satisfied and definitely stuffed. The only downside was the ambient noise level, partially due to another large party seated nearby. But you could tell that everyone was enjoying the food, fellowship and service. Firebird's will definitely be on my list for future special occasions and celebrations.

I had such a great experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, Bella was so excited to help us. She went above and beyond to make sure our party of over 10 was seated comfortably and taken care of. Her caring heart and attention to detail truly stood out. 💖
Our waitress, Julia, was also amazing so attentive and friendly throughout the evening.
I really want to highlight Bella for her outstanding service. She made our experience special, and I’ll definitely be back!
