I keep seeing a recurring theme when I read the reviews. The food runs from great to decent. I agree the food is usually good but what I have experienced here is the wait staff the guys are usually great but the women are always suffering from PMS. Rude and hateful from the hostess to the women at checkout. Slamming the food on the table and walking off. The guys on the other hand are friendly and helpful your glass is never empty. The dishes are chipped.

My husband is on a search for an authentic chile relleno. He did not find it here. Said his food was not good at all. I tried a new dish, the quesabarilla. It was delicious! Definitely recommend.

Drink refills by someone who wasn’t even our waiter whenever they got low. But someone knocked my child’s food off the table as soon as we received it. And they made us pay to replace it. It was a cheese quesadilla and fries. Will NOT be returning. The waitress that was actually ours, talked to us with disrespect from the time we walked in to the time we left. Food was definitely not worth the price. Oh. & the chicken doesn’t come with any cheese dip either.

Horrible service the waiter wanted to rush us when when we were eating and then the lady that took the money was asking us if we had already left the tip or are you going to do cash and I was thinking wow with that horrible serivice the last thing I wanted to do was leave a tip

I can’t say enough about how good this place is i come here at least once a week their shredded chicken over rice with beans is the best. Their queso and salsa are always fresh. Employees are very respectful and fast. Best Mexican in Birmingham easily!

If I could honestly give below one stars, I truthfully would. As we sitting down to eat dinner, a roach is crawling down the wall. I asked for a manager who simply apologize and asked that I want to sit at another table. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will be contacting the health department..

Our waiter was the best I have ever had. The food was fresh and delicious. We literally got our food in less than 5 minutes on a weekday lunch. With Jamie as our waiter, I eat my lunch there as often as I can!!!!!
