HQ Korean BBQ & Hot Pot Hoover

My husband and I went there because I saw photos on Facebook and wanted to try it. Our server asked if we had been there before and went through the process at the speed of light when we admitted we had not. I didn’t understand or remember half of what she said. She brought our drinks and never checked on us again. Didn’t change our cooking disc, or bring more drinks even though ours were empty. I did notice that the tables around us got lots of attention. Full drinks and cooking plates changed. Ours was black and smoking and leaving a burnt taste on our food. When it was time for the check she got super duper nice, asked if we wanted to-go drinks, how did we like the restaurant yada. Yada. Yada. It’s too late, my husband will never go back somewhere he is made to feel unwelcome. And neither will I. Since both of us have worked as servers before, we understand good service, and we understand bad service. That was bad.

This is a wonderful place for any occasion, great food, amazing atmosphere, even the rice is to die for. Do yourself a favor and have this experience.

My first time visiting this particularly Korean BBQ spot. The process was easy and the food was pretty good. Customer service was good as well. I plan to visit again in the future.

It did not match the amount I ordered each time. Even though it’s AYCE, it’s annoying and waste my time to wait for another 10 minutes to order next round. The beef slices in pic 2 (6 orders) is less than the pic 1 (3 orders). You can see the beef’s quality is different between pic 1 and other two.

Awesome place to get a self cook bbq. The bulgogi keeps us coming back.

i was really looking forward to trying this place since i first heard about it. I invited 2 of my friends to join, 1 however, doesn’t eat a majority of the food and has an allergy to most as well. We asked if she could just sit with us while we ate so we could enjoy ourselves and company. However, the manager told us we still had to pay the $35 JUST FOR HER TO SIT WITH US AND NOT EAT! That is ridiculous! I’m very disappointed at this customer service and will not be back to try.

I have enjoyed Korean/K-pot in other cities and it was an amazing experience. The only words that come to mind is “plain”. The food was bland , very small portions were given. The entire experience was uneventful. I was disappointed.

This was our first time trying Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. It was quite overwhelming to begin with, but our server, Lisa, was kind, patient and attentive. She made awesome recommendations. She also answered all of our questions and made our first experience fantastic. The food was awesome and we will come back! Thank you for an awesome experience!

Really great experience, all menu items tasted amazing! I personally recommend the bulgogi grilled with onions. The whole restaurant was spotless and clean, and the grilling process was incredibly straight-forward.

We had Jenna as our server and she provided exceptional service, always making sure our experience was the best!

It used to be the best hot pot bbq place in town. A lot of meat options were not available today (Columbus Day). I was expecting to get their 25 % discount for a Monday but had to pay dinner price for a Monday lunch price with very limited meat options. Would have been a better business strategy to bring in more customers on a discounted price due yo the limited menu. The waitstaff was real nice though.
