Not sure how this place has such good reviews unless we just went on a bad night. Our waiter was AWESOME, he had such great energy. The fried okra was good. But the crab claws.. they were dried out and half the meat was missing. The scallops were rubbery like they had been sitting under a light all night. I payed $18 for that. My son’s lobster was pretty sad too. Try somewhere else if you want what you pay for.

My first visit there, but I had read the reviews and was a little sceptical. Yes, the decor was low budget plastic and the disposable plates were still the usual for Covid, but the food was very good. No better fried shrimp and oysters. Everything was cooked to order and hot from the fryer. I think some previous reviewers were expecting Captain D's prices for very good seafood. I will definitely be going back when I want good seafood.
The people were nice and very attentive. I've had better seafood. It was ok but it could have been better. I was highly disappointed before I even got my food the sweet tea was horrible. I won't be dinning at this establishment again.

Woooow!!!!! I'm just go say it like this.It's soooo many people that don't know about this place. It's better than the Crab Barrack in Center point and the Seafood King Across from the Comfort Inn in Bessemer Alabama... They don't give you your money's worth!!!! They is so pricey.... If you want a lot of Seafood for your money get ready too be happy!!!! They do you right..... You will not want to go to any other Seafood Restaurant in Birmingham.... If you haven't tried Baby Octopus I recommend it with that Andy's sauce get some cup of lemons and cocktail sauce. Just wait to be amazed!!!!!

This seafood restaurant was not that great at all. The customer service was super slow and the food was not as good as what they advertised in the photos. We will not be eating at this seafood restaurant ever again. People don't waste your money. There are alot more better seafood restaurants in the area.
