Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza

Traveling from Nashville to Birmingham and stopped at Johnny Brusco’s—one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The NY-style crust was spot on, the Johnny's Deluxe was loaded with fresh toppings, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend for great, made-to-order pizza!

We came in tonight and the place was full. There was only one waitress and her name was Kelly. She was running the whole place!! She was amazing!!

Pizza was amazing!! Fresh and was so good and crispy!!

We did order the buffalo chicken dip and there was a hair in it that was from one of the new helpers. We didn’t freak out he because things just happen. Kelly made sure to take care of us!! She seriously needs a raise!!

I like Johnny Brusco's they have a band area. The restaurant is cozy and clean. The chief and waitress was very nice. I will go back. Ooh pizza was like from Home Ny. Yeah cheesey. Thank you 😊

First time picking up a delivery order here and the blonde lady with black glasses behind the bar was so rude. When I walked to the bar to pick up this woman didn't even speak or give me the time of day so a man in the kitchen came out to help me.I didn't have a insulated bag so the man in the kitchen kindly gave me an extra and let me know I needed a bag whenever I picked up a delivery here and after the blonde lady again with a condescending attitude tried to lecture me about having a bad. Dirty blonde hair lady was so kind an apologized twice because she also saw how rude the lady was to me. I would never come here to eat personally just because of how rude she was.Only saving grace for the establishment was the 2 kind people who helped me with great attitudes.

Food is decent but the older lady that works there attitude is awful every time I visit- so bad it makes you not want to visit the establishment. If you can't provide customer service to paying customers, you're in the wrong business.

We had a choice of seating, but seemed to be little to no air, two fans to cool the dinning area. The menu looked promising, lots of options. However the food was nothing special. Artichoke dip did not have much flavor, cheese bread was exactly that.. no true flavor. The steak and cheese was made/taste like a roast beef more than a philly. The fries were perfection. We ordered the Johnny's white pizza and added chicken.. dont know what I was expecting with the chicken but what came on it was basically bland chopped chicken, and the pizza was definitely not a new York style pizza. Just a regular pizza. The bill came and was incredibly expensive for the quality.

Haven’t had a bad experience until today. The older woman serving us was very rude and blew us off several times. Had a very odd payment experience as well. My receipt showed my total paid with cash was $58 and some change and my card payment would be $61. I understand my card service fee but when I actually received the receipt I was charged $74.16. I asked her what the large difference was and she said it was the card fee and she walked off and mumbled under her breath “just pay cash next time”. If it was an automatic tip I can maybe understand, but automatically charging me a tip for two people and just over $50 is unfair to the customer. I do not expect to be back anytime soon unless I can get a clear answer as to what happened.

I love the lunch special of pizza slice, salad and drink. I wish they still had a Johnny Bruscos in Vestavia.
