Mikey's grill was one of our favorite places to eat in Hoover. Great service and Food was always good (wonderful steak's especially). We are sad it has ClLOSED. We will miss you all!!

Mikey‘s really delivered on great food last night. They were a little busy and understaffed so the service was not quite up to par but since we're pretty regular, we were very understanding. Mikey's, in our opinion, is one of the best values in Birmingham for really good food at reasonable prices.

A friend took me here while I was visiting. I live near philly and this was some of the freshest and most delicious seafood ive had in a while. The staff was super friendly too. I had a snapper dish that was out of this world. And the crab cakes were better than what i get in Maryland.

Superb!!! The crab cakes were delicious. Someone got the sampler platter and they said it was outstanding. The noise level was great, not loud, like most are now. You could actually talk and hear everyone. This is a definite go to restaurant!!!

I have eaten @ Mikey's many many times and have never been disappointed .. And I have had pretty much everything on the Menu too !! Great place for Date Night , Dining with Family & Friends and Special Occasions like Rehearsal Dinners , Retirement Dinners , Business Dinners ETC

overrated, a lot of the reviews rate the place to high. first of the atmosphere/environment, it is a good looking place on the inside but there was a smell almost like bleach or ammonia which ruined the atmosphere. second the food, the food was some of the worst i have had. i got the sautéed snapper which came with the house salad. the house salad was a pile of lettuce with two cherry tomatoes, two slices of cucumber, and two slices of onion. this is not much of a salad if you ask me it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t much. now on to the main course the sautéed snapper this was very bland and caked in breading and a sweet butter that made it taste like some kind of butter pecan ice cream. lastly the service, overall the service was nice but i didn’t make up for the food in my opinion. overall didn’t like anything i do not recommend but i must say the people working there are very kind.

We had a fabulous meal last night! I have to get the crabcakes every time! Always great service and the temperature in the restaurant is always pleasant. You don't freeze to death.

Wonderful experience! We had a bad experience a couple of years ago, and this is the first time we've been back. I love the change in the layout now....we had the crab cakes and they were spectacular! Quality for sure, and we will be back!
Toughest chicken I’ve ever had on a grilled chicken Caesar salad. Mediocre service. Never came around offering refills.

Mickey's is the best kept secret in Birmingham. Whether your fish is fried or grilled, it comes out perfect. Great atmosphere and service. His homemade hot rolls and butter are a great starter.

We were out of town and found this place. Great people, great food. Food is kinda expensive but worth it. Best steak I have had in awhile and cooked how I ordered it. Highly recommend.

Nice seafood place on this side of town. The dinner menu is limited to seafood because that is what they specialize in. Lunch menu does have burgers and chicken. They also have Irish coffee, Italian coffee, and Mexican coffee.
