The food was really good. However, our order was taken by a woman with a big black mask on. We could barely hear her and it was really a downer. We couldn't tell if she was trying to "protect" herself from us, or us from her. Neither sounds great. If she's sick--stay home. If she's that concerned about getting sick, stay home. This is a public restaurant, it's 2024 and ENOUGH ALREADY. And by the way, masks don't work.

I had the best club sandwich today. It was hot and fresh. Most of all it wasn't dry or skimping on ingredients. This review was earned and very deserving. I Enjoyed my meal. It was made with love and experience. Its been a long time since I've had a quality meal anywhere. Most businesses these days are raising prices but cutting quality and quantity. I call that double dipping.My Club Sandwich made me appreciate Newks. It definitely made me want another sandwich soon.

I have eaten at Newks across a few states, and it is always good food and a good value.The Hoover Newks is no different. If you have never been, the menu options can be a little over welming. I like the $20 meal deals and pick them up. With the prices of food these days and delivery prices being ridiculous, it's only 5 minutes from me.

Very poor service. They had to make three trips to the table to deliver food for the two of us because they didn't look at the ticket. I was half way finished with my French dip, and the side had not arrived. I had to go up to the counter to check on it. Overpriced for what it is.
My only complaint about this location is that every time I go there they have the thermostat set to about 60°. It is unbearably cold and I always end up having to sit out on the patio.

The staff that worked yesterday was an absolute awesome team. I was there for lunch and around fifty to sixty people came in at once and no one sweated. They took care of us as well as the Soccer or Volleyball team. Awesome staff they need to be recognized for the teamwork.
