It's been a while since I last ate here but I wanted some spaghetti and didn't want to make it. There looked to be some new staff which is good because the service was better then ever. The food was great and the meatballs were huge.

We were visiting from out of state. We used to love to go to NY Pizza in Homewood village and super sad to see they had closed. We found Salvatore's and we were not disappointed! It was fabulous! We ordered 3 larges: the NY Sal's Special and the chicken/pesto Mediterranean-type. Feeding 9 young adults they were gone in a blink with everyone commenting on how good it all was!

Parking: This is a wee space inside, and the drive through line to pick up (Friday night) was long. After scoping out, we ended up ordering online, running errands and coming back for the pizza. It all worked out perfectly.

One of those places that tells you: this is the place. Excellent pizza, pasta, salad and everything else. Cordial attention every time. You can pickup, order for delivery or just dine in. No regrets.

Best Pizza 🍕 in Birmingham and great customer service!! Very polite and friendly Staff!!

Kid-friendliness: Very patient with my kids when they were ordering their food and they gave us some good suggestions!

Ordered take out on 2 items and never even received the other half of my order, a full sized pizza. Disappointed. Will have to reconsider eating here again.

I cannot believe how rude the woman on the phone was to me. When I complained her response was "Here is my response to you" and placed me on hold indefinitely. Whoever owns this establishment needs to be aware of this. She did it again while writing this comment. I will place my complaint in person. Food was good though

It was such a cozy comfortable spot! This might sound negative, but I don’t live in the city. It’s almost like a “hole in the wall” & those are the best places to get comfort food! The staff was friendly & kind, & it felt homey & welcoming. The food was incredible & I was excited to take home my leftovers, they aren’t stingy with their food!! I recommend any dish made from this place, it felt like it was made with love & care, the flavors speak for themselves! Great meals for a great price!! I can’t wait to go back! This is now my favorite Italian restaurant!

I got the grilled chicken salad. Grilled is not the right word. It looked gray and there was no browning on it. So much olive and feta and vinegar that it was hard to taste anything. The garlic bread was okay nothing special

I have been eating sals pizza for over 20 years. the past few times the canzone have declined to the the point where I will go elsewhere. And I know that this may not mean much but it is a bitter disappointment. Thanks alot
