I ordered thru door dash and I requested my sandwich without onions bc I'm allergic to them, they did not follow instructions and put onions on my food, upon remaking my order they made the same mistake again and then tried to cover it with a pound of lettuce in the sandwich, still had with buried onions on the sandwich. I am completely disappointed, this used to be my favorite sandwich restaurant, not anymore. I wasted two hours waiting on awful food that would have made me sick.

I’m not from Alabama, but I have NEVER seen a kitchen this nasty. I didn’t eat here, I walked right back out. That kitchen is absolutely filthy, unprofessional, and nowhere near legal health-code standards. It looks like nobody has cleaned in months. No business should be serving the public out of a kitchen this disgusting. This place needs a full inspection immediately, because that setup is a straight-up health hazard.

The store was nasty inside the lobby, I was just coming in and picking up DoorDash order. It’s 1:50 pm and they haven’t cleaned up at all in the lobby. Not many people inside but I wouldn’t eat somewhere that’s not clean.

I placed my order online. Went through drive through, no waiting. Order was exactly correct and tasted great. My fave is their tomato basil soup. I tried the new turkey apple sandwich - divine!!
Whoever the night shift manger is for this shift 9/24/2025 needs to be fired. I believe it’s a lady short hair, so I came in around 6pm for an order that was placed at 5:30ish. Get there and it has to be made but the entire restaurant is empty. Female manger on the freaking phone while I walked in AND while I was waiting! She drives a white challenger that’s she sits in and talks on the phone as well while the store is running to crap! DO BETTER. HIRE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO WORK !

So I don't know if you haven't been in here recently I can tell you this...... There is no air conditioning, they have floor air conditioners because the air conditioning is out so literally it's hotter inside than it is outside.. I didn't mean that wholeheartedly, it literally is cooler outside than it is in the store

Honestly, I had a nightmare with DoorDash and my food getting mishandled, but the store handled it awesomely. I didn’t catch the guy at the counter’s name, but he helped me and my husband above and beyond our expectations. They were awesome. We were there 8/30/2025 at 2:10pm.

We were visiting in Hoover AL and were so excited to see a Schlotzsky’s. And we were not disappointed!!!!! Wish they’d open a deli in Destin. Delicious!!!

I have never made a bad comment.. 3 people working, one working on the ceiling, one with mustard all over their face. No bread for my sandwich, two other customers just left after purchase. Food on the counter and spilled drinks. Worst sandwich I have ever had, horrible. Should had bought a hot pocket at a gas station
