I swear this place can’t get it right. This is the second time I’ve had to post a negative review about this and only the second time because I didn’t have time to post it the other five times I have tried to visit this location. It’s dirty. The staff is not friendly and they just don’t care whether or not you have a good experience at this location. The last time I posted a review I spoke to the owner and here we are nothing has changed. This specific time I placed my order 15 minutes before arriving, knowing that they were gonna be late with it. I get here and had to wait another 10 minutes for my order while two other employees were not even doing anything constructive. When they handed me my order, it was a total of six small sandwiches. I told him that’s not what I ordered. He said well that’s all they got because they did not have any bigger buns. I give up! I will never return to this location unless they offer me an entire year for free sandwiches and then I still probably won’t come because it is so filthy. I will be sure everybody I know here’s about this location. Thanks a lot for ruining one of my favorite restaurantsat the only location in Birmingham.

We frequent this location often, but have noticed lately the cleanliness of this Restaurant. When we arrived, every dining room table had not been cleaned. There were food particles left on every table. The ladies restroom was out of order( there is always something wrong with this restroom/ usually needs servicing, messy, paper dispenser out of order, countertop messy, leaky faucets) The countertop around the drink station looked bad and had not been wiped down. This is really disappointing because the manager is always friendly and food is good, however we could not get over how dirty this location was. Hoping this is temporary.

1 star is a compliment for this place. I had a horrible experience the first time I went a couple weeks ago, but thought that could have just been a bad day for them so I decided to give another chance. It was actually worse this time. The store is completely filled with smoke and none of the workers will even acknowledge you when you enter. I ordered online so I could just walk in and pick it up at the designated time. After 10 minutes past the pickup time of waiting in the smoke filled lobby, I asked the woman up front about my food. She replied, “I’m not the manager.” I waited 20 minutes after the pickup time before I asked for a refund to leave. Then a man walked up, dropped the pizza on the counter and walked away. No apologies or comments. I would highly discourage anyone from ever coming to this location.

I placed my order at 6 pm I left at 7 pm with no sandwich or even my refund. I will never be back. I hade to bring race into it but what else could it be when people who don’t look like ordered after me and got their order before me. The man I talked to was rude and wouldn’t even try to accommodate me and tried to make seem like I lied about having made an order. I’ve never been so embarrassed.

It has been sometime since my last visit to Schlotzky's deli. I was looking forward to my visit for lunch yesterday. First disappointment was the price (sandwich combo and pick 2 w/ water), then the limited amount of meat and other items on the sandwich and the sour dough bread was soggy. Also, We actually had a $5 discount coupon but the bill was still $25. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. I have to say the help from the cashier and manager was worth mentioning as good.

Terrible I itial interaction with cashier before even reading began saying we don't take that runs to manager who then says he will handle it. Wanted more than the email that had no code saying needed to go to app. Then on application there was no code. So I decided not to sup there at all and take my time and money in my birthday koth elsewhere with better greeters who will get paid today anyway. He was wearing a UAb baseball cap and immediately went to next customer as though no problem at all and it certainly is t for me. So I still have no idea about the food and don't care. He said it was only location in court 58 Shelby county. I do Not recommend it but you're a different person than I am. The people seemed to enjoy their good. Orange is the new black lockup.

Schlotzsky's as I remember them from 20 years ago ... is DEAD. We no longer have Schlotzsky's at home so I try to make a point to stop in when we're passing thru. This restaurant was empty, all the lights were out, and we paid $48 for two sandwiches. I told my wife and son to remember it well because this is the last time. I don't know what's gone wrong with this company but there is little to no attention or oversight on their franchisees, and allowing a sandwich to reach $24????
