I've been a regular here since they opened and its time to give a review. Great vibe. Great food. Great staff. Service with a smile. Honestly. Can't say enough. The formula is working. The Electric is that place where people you don't even know will smile and say hello. It's become the hub of Bluff Park. A friendly, comforting corner of our community where people leave negativity outside. Drop by and sit at the bar. There's no news channels on the TV's, ever. Order a sammie and a bev. Food never takes long. If you don't drink, there's a selection of canned sodas that you probably forgot existed. Before you know it, you'll chat with whomever is near you. You'll be glad you came. For me personally, it's the place where everybody knows MY name. That's pretty special. Keep it up guys.
Delicious veggie-option sandwich and smash burger. Everything we had tasted amazing. We didn’t care for all the song choices, but the decor is a lot of fun. Service was great. Outdoor seating pleasant, even with parking lot view. Full-size, quality paper napkins made me happy!

Chill place to have soup, sandwich, drinks and we watched football. Great taste for the soups (tomato curry over the French onion). Enjoyed the velvet Elvis cocktail. Happy they have a wide variety of beverages including local ones. Will return.

Sitting here now. First time here. Ordered a sandwich over an hour ago. Still no sandwich. It doesn’t make sense. They’ve been saying coming up next for over 30 minutes. It’s not very crowded. It’s just a sandwich and chips. I Will NEVER come back.

While the menu is not extensive, you should be able to find something you like. I ordered the flatbread pizza, and my wife ordered the wedge salad. The salad was large enough to share as I finished her salad, which was great because I had already quickly devoured my flatbread pizza. There are video games to keep you or your kids occupied. You can sit at the bar, in a booth, at a table, and there is even seating outside. This is a quaint Bluff Park restaurant. If you are up for dessert, the Bluff Park Ice Cream shop is nearby and is open until 8 PM.

The Electric is a nice local sandwich shop in Hoover with an interesting vibe inside. Really good aura inside as there were a few retro games. It feels kinda like a bar with the restaurant portion added on after. Idk I’m confused a lil bit on the feels but the food was really good! We thoroughly enjoyed the food! We had the Pub Sub, Tchoupitoulas, and the Caesar Pita wrap. The seasoned chips were also a nice addition as they had a nice lil bit of flavaaa. Overall, pretty nice place to go to in Hoover!!

Marlee is fantastic, she runs this place - this is not a burger joint; but it’s local and the food is damn good - worth checking out and hanging out

I was on my way to be a guest on the Blerd Survival Guide podcast and I had a little time to kill so I popped up over to The Electric after being told many times to try it. So what are the odds that this place was only 3 minutes from my destination!Anyways I popped in and checked out the inside and it was a very cool, comfortable, and hype like establishment. I put my order in online and didn't go in until it was the said time they gave me on the order. When I went in my food wasn't ready and so I had to wait probably another 30 minutes. Staff was working hard though so I wasn't stressing about it to hard. Staff was nice and offered me water while I waited.I finally get my food head back to the car and proceeded to unbox everything. I gotta admit that visually the food looked very good.First up I had the Classic which is a Flatbread that consists of pepperoni, conecuh sausage, mozzarella, provolone cheese, and basil. This ended up being very good. Nothing crazy to wow about but it definitely got the job done. Flavors were decently balanced I think my only grip with this is the pizza sauce could use a bit more work. I still would other this again anyways so don't let that stop you. 7.5/10Lastly I got The Ballpark which consisted of country sausage, chili, cheddar cheese, yellow mustard, scallions, and hugged tight in a toasted bun. This was probably my favorite thing. The chili was so hot and tasted as if it was homemade. If it's not homemade I want to known where they buy it because it was pretty darn good. I'd eat it on its own! The sausage was very flavorful as well. The only issue with this was the bun it's definitely well toasted it was way to hard for me and shredded the roof of my mouth I would personally change the bun to something else but that'd just me. Either way this bad boy is a will order again and I give it a 8.5/10.Definitely go try this place when you get the chance it was really good and I hope I can come back soon!
