I so wanted a replacement for the last boil led bag place we loved. Well the search continues... the staff was very friendly and our waitress was awesome!!! The food... was average at best. For the price you pay... it should be amazing!! So here are something's to note. You have to ask the waitress/waiter for the crab leg crackers... as far as the crab slicers... you know the thing that looks like a crab claw with a sharp side.... Well there are none to be had as we never received any. Needless to say I left a good amount of crab in parts of the legs... the crab also didn't crack very well....

Will never order from this location again. Too expensive and was not fresh. I spent almost $60 dollars for what smelled and tasted awful. Please be careful and not get sick from eating this. The staff was kind when I picked up my food, but whoever is in the kitchen, shame on you. ?

Pretty good. Not as good as the one that closed by the Galleria unfortunately. Definitely some positives. Got a 5 dollar margarita and the hush puppies were great. I got combo 11 which had Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, corn, potatoes, and 3 hard boiled eggs. It was a lot of food, for sure. I got the special sauce with medium spice. The sauce was decent but not as good as the other place. Medium spice was good. A little bit of heat but not too much. The staff were really nice and put on the game I wanted to watch and our server, Robyn, did a great job.

Where do I start? We chose this restaurant because my daughter wanted to go there for her 18th birthday on July 13th. We got to the restaurant & we saw a sign outside saying free birthday dinner & inquired about it. Ok they said you have to have at least 6 people. Understandable. Anyway, on to the waitress we had named Chyna. She was horrible. We spent 3 hrs in this restaurant and had only one cup of water no refills, no come back & ask us if there anything else we needed or nothing. Everything we needed extra was from other waitresses. She just giggled & stood there at the other table talking to some guy customers for a long time. My daughters birthday was ruined. This was the worst customer service we have ever had in any restaurant. It wasn't cracked up to be what everybody said it would be. My daughter said she liked her seafood, but me nor her dad enjoyed the catfish & shrimp. He had to send his food back & it was worse. It tasted more floury than seasoned. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Save your money!

I ordered a #2 boil and a rum punch. When the boil came out I asked what the seasoning was because the server never asked. He said the juice option. I let him know I didn’t like lemon pepper but wouldn’t send it back because I didn’t want anything out in my food for sending a plate back.I opened every crawfish and mussel and had some left when I was done eating. Once I gave my payment and was sitting the server then decided I didn’t need my leftovers as he took my food and walked away.No wonder the place is empty $30 wasted.

Angela our server was excellent. Food was good and atmosphere was great as well. Glad to see it is finally open!

Shrimp seems like the primary offering. Cajun seasoning seemed to over power the shrimp, but was good. Overall experience was enjoyable. Save your money and skip the mixed drinks, 2/3 ice in a small glass. I will go back and try some of the other selections.

This place isn't very busy but it has great service! I got the catfish and it was great. It's a little expensive but it's definitely worth it

The food was fine. The service was terrible. Messed up my order. Didn't come back to check on us. Tried to order drinks and that was a chore. Took forever to get the ticket. Our server didn't tell us if we pay at the table or in front so they looked at us crazy when we walked up to the front. The staff was unprofessional, loud, cutting up, and stood around lazily. As few patrons as there were in the restaurant, I don't know why our server was a ghost. Never will go back here. It won't be open long with that staff.

We had a pretty good experience at the newest "seafood in a bag" concept in Hoover. The restaurant is in an old Logan's steakhouse building, but you wouldn't recognize it. The renovation is a nice layout out and is decorated in a typical seafood theme. The Juicy Crab is a franchised restaurant that has locations throughout the southeast. I ordered the combo #1 which is a combination of 1/2 lb of shrimp (headless) and 1/2 lb sausage. The combo includes corn and a potato. I ordered my combo with the Juicy Special seasoning and mild heat. The seasoning was a tasty mixture of butter, garlic, and seasoning. I would definitely order this again. We also ordered the Cajun fried green beans appetizer and they were pretty good, The restaurant was not busy on this Sunday night. Service was excellent. We were seated promptly, and our waitress did a great job. She was efficient and our orders came out quickly.

This was the worst service I have gotten from the minute we walked in I felt like a inconvenience to the staff. She ended up sitting us by the bar and the bartender was our server. The 3 of us all ordered crab and she only brought us one cracker and one butter. When we went to pay she picked up our cards and came back and threw the checks on the table and left. We wanted to talk to a manger but the entire staff went and hid in the kitchen we waited about 5 minutes and left. It was such a shame because the food was fantastic but if definitely wasn’t not worth it because the wait staff is that terrible.

Complete Saturday night out with child and wife disaster. 1 couple in the restaurant. Waited 20 minutes for tea and water. Went to bar for beer. Waited 17 more minutes for 6 raw oysters. Waited 10 more minutes for horseradish. I politely requested a new server. The manger harassed me and my family until we left. I asked the manager twice to leave us alone and she wouldn’t leave the table The one calimari appetizer we ate tasted like 90% breading and came from the frozen section of a cheap grocery store. Please avoid this place at all costs.

We had a bad experience on 8/6/22 around 9:00pm. The rap music was so loud that you could not hear the person next to you. The hostess was extremely rude. I asked her to see if the music could be turned down and she walked away without responding. The server was friendly, but I believe that she was a new server. She did not remove anything from our table, we had to ask and still would only take one thing at a time, very strange. They were out of the drink that we wanted, no crackers for oysters, served plastic forks, and she brought us 1 cracker when 3 of us ordered crab. I said that we needed 2 more and she said that she has to wait for her manager to get out of the bathroom... ugh! There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. When you spend over a $130 per person, there are expectations involved for an overall experience. The food was great, but the everything else was horrible! We will never be back!
