I visited in 9/17/2025 I don't know who idea it was to change the bread that it used for the Flatbreads but please change it back this new bread is to big and very dry at-least if you change the bread please give customers more on the sandwich. I had more bread than I did any of the items on the chicken bacon bacon flatbread it was literally a little portion and a big dried out piece of bread.. Look at the picture employees you should be ashamed.

i went in to this hoover location today and the staff was polite however there was a blood stain in the chair at a table and there were 2 very long hairs in my flatbread . I couldn’t even eat my food at all , questioning the cleanliness and health code here at this location .

The smoothies are great but I’m really disappointed by the service here. This is the second time that I’ve come in and ordered two smoothies and waited over 30 minutes to actually get them. Another lady came in and ordered after I did and got her smoothie and her food before we did. Not sure if the guy on the register was new but he really didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Went back to check in again after waiting in the lobby and they had our order just sitting there melting.

The service at this cafe is truly outstanding! Every time I visit, the staff goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome and appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience is significantly marred by the presence of the manager, Denny. His demeanor creates an uncomfortable and tense atmosphere, affecting both the staff and customers alike. For instance, I tried to tip one of the employees for their exceptional service, only to be informed that their manager prohibits them from accepting tips. This policy is not only surprising but raises questions about its legality. In my opinion, Denny's management style is detrimental to the cafe's environment, and he needs to be removed for the sake of both the staff and the patrons.

I had an AMAZING experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and I have to give a huge shoutout to the manager, Deloris. She was not only incredibly polite and professional, but she truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and taken care of.

Deloris recommended the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap and let me just say — she did not miss! It was absolutely delicious — flavorful, perfectly made, and honestly one of the best things I’ve had in a long time. You can tell she knows the menu and genuinely cares about customers having a great experience.

It’s rare to get service that feels this personal and warm. Deloris has such a positive energy — the kind that makes you want to come back again and again.

If you stop by, definitely ask for her recommendation (and get that Caribbean Jerk Wrap). 10/10, I’ll 100% be back!

Had my order behind the counter sitting long enough to go from a fruit smoothie to a fruit drink. Got an adittude when I asked about order after standing at the counter waiting. Not cool.

Went in for a quick bday smoothie and the crew was welcoming and attentive. The worker even brought out the smoothie to us and it tasted better than the past smoothies I’ve ordered at other locations. Would come again if in town.

I got an acai smoothie bowl and it was obvious it was pre-made and frozen. As a smoothie lover I make my own bowls at home all the time, but have also frozen them to eat at a later date, the difference is severely noticeable.

It had 1/3 smoothie, 2/3 toppings, and the acai smoothie was a solid brick of ice.

The toppings were very yummy though and the fruits tasted fresh, even though they were overflowing a little bit and made it difficult to start eating it.

Overall the smoothie bowl still tasted good, it was just the fact it was a frozen ice cube that threw me off.

(I did an online pick up order so I didn't experience any of the customer service, but the people working seemed chill)

The service at this location is always hit or miss depending on what staff is working that day. Today was definitely rude and poor service. They forgot stuff off of my order and my food was hollow outside of the middle and poorly cut.

I would give this place 69 stars if I could. Jo made my experience so memorable. I was greeted as soon as I entered. And was unsure of what I wanted to try as I had never been to a tropical smoothie cafe before. She gave me some recommendations and I tried what she suggested and it was great. Her attitude and smile made me really feel like I was welcomed there and not just a customer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try it. And make sure you try the açaí berry boost!!!
