My favorite smoothie place its clean with really good customer service They have good recommendations based on what you're looking for. Keeya is sooo informative!!!

I got an acai smoothie bowl and it was obvious it was pre-made and frozen. As a smoothie lover I make my own bowls at home all the time, but have also frozen them to eat at a later date, the difference is severely noticeable.

It had 1/3 smoothie, 2/3 toppings, and the acai smoothie was a solid brick of ice.

The toppings were very yummy though and the fruits tasted fresh, even though they were overflowing a little bit and made it difficult to start eating it.

Overall the smoothie bowl still tasted good, it was just the fact it was a frozen ice cube that threw me off.

(I did an online pick up order so I didn't experience any of the customer service, but the people working seemed chill)

The service at this location is always hit or miss depending on what staff is working that day. Today was definitely rude and poor service. They forgot stuff off of my order and my food was hollow outside of the middle and poorly cut.

I would give this place 69 stars if I could. Jo made my experience so memorable. I was greeted as soon as I entered. And was unsure of what I wanted to try as I had never been to a tropical smoothie cafe before. She gave me some recommendations and I tried what she suggested and it was great. Her attitude and smile made me really feel like I was welcomed there and not just a customer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try it. And make sure you try the açaí berry boost!!!

First time here and our last time. Friendly staff but the smoothies are horrible. Way too much ice, barely any flavor. Not sure if its the ice but there is a bad taste underlying the fruit flavor. My wife completely agrees. I will make sure to let everyone know to choose another company for their smoothies. I shoulda have read other reviews first, it seems like I am not the only one. Must have poor management since things havent improved from the other reviews until today.

It's sadden me to have to give a bad review, but hopefully this will get to the General Manager or owner's attention at this location. This location has gone down terribly. I have tried to give this location chance after chance. I have been coming here for over 10 years, it was always good the smoothies and the food. Now the only thing is good is the bag of chips that I do not really want. Whomever owns this location can't care about this place. I mean you think because this is Hoover you would have better service/food. Nope!! I really hate this for the Tropical Smoothie cafe reputation. If you want your smoothie and food prepared correctly go to the Inverness location they will not disappoint!! SO SAD!!!!

30+ minutes for two smoothies is unacceptable. I’m still waiting as I write this review. Staff is miserable and not helpful when asking for an update on my order or anyone’s that have gone to ask. This location needs to be managed at a higher standard. Horrible experience.

had a terrible experience at Tropical Smoothie. The employees were more interested in playing on their phones than actually working. My smoothie was made incorrectly and was only half full. I had to send it back to be remade. This kind of service is unacceptable. I will never come here again.

The cashier at this location, one of them was really rude in taking my order when I was wanting to remove some of the foods in the flatbread, and then wanted to take it off my order because of how rude she was when placing it, I wanted to remove it and she just stared me down before removing the order. It was very very disrespectful and I also found a piece of plastic when eating my Southeast Flatbread (substitute of the wrap), which thank God, Almighty, I did not swallow the piece of plastic but caught it in my mouth thank God. Will never ever be back here again after the very rude service and disrespect of the cashiers who did not even greet and say thank you.

I come to this location often…like at least once a week. This morning looked like they had two new employees. Nice girls but they are either sick or have allergies! The one taking my order was sneezing, wiping her nose, no gloves and didn’t wash hands. I watched her make someone’s order. The other girl was sneezing as well but at least she was wearing gloves. I know allergies are bad here right now but they should be required to wear a mask. I’m glad my order was a quick one. I love this location and they are always nice but today wasn’t a good look.

The wraps were great, the "new" smoothie bowls were ok. I think buying a frozen one from any store would be the equivalent. The only problem was none of us could hear the young lady that took our order, she mumbled very quietly while looking down the whole time. I know we live in different times nowadays but you should be able to place an order without saying huh and what a bunch of times

Ordered online. My order was not ready for pick up when I arrived. I had to wait 10mins. What’s the point of ordering pick up and still having your wait in the service line. This is not a convenience to the customer and a disrespect of time. But of course you want your be paid in full for poor service.

The staff is always friendly and you can tell they are inspired by the GM's leadership because he gives excellent service every time I visit. They remember my order and make it well every time. Detox island green is delicious and low-calorie because there's no added sugar. I love this Tropical Smoothie location.
