Came in about 30 minutes till closing to place a take-out order. Carey took our order and was very friendly as always! This will always be a weekly favorite for my wife and I as the food never disappoints and Carey along with the rest of the staff always go above and beyond!!!

Has great sushi. Comes with salad and soup. Get the multiple rolls of sushi. The bento box is also good

This is like the 5th time I’ve asked for double steak and only the rice was doubled and barely any steak. Never knew English was so hard to comprehend 🕳️🚶🏽

I am gaga over the House Fried Rice. The plate is so full two people can eat and still take enough home for lunch or a midnight snack. The dish is full of chicken, steak, and shrimp. It does not come with egg but you can ask them to add it for a small upcharge.

I love eating here! This is my favorite restaurant in hueytown. Sushi is top tier, steak is always cooked amazing, the service is really good.

My husband got steak and shrimp hibachi and I got shrimp fried rice. There were literally 3 pieces of shrimp just laying on top of my rice. Paid almost $17 for literally much just rice! My husband got 4 pieces of steak and 3-4 shrimps with his hibachi. Seems like a joke!

Disappointing experience.
Service was extremely poor, our waitress was inattentive, visibly annoyed anytime we asked for something, and made multiple mistakes with our order. After bringing the food, she never checked back even once. It honestly felt like her very first day in a restaurant, or maybe on the planet. We won’t be returning.

I ordered Togo habchi Chicken and steak and it was amazing. The food was good quality and the portion was a lot. I would definitely recommend.

Today I had a lunch party with me and my coworkers and it was amazing. I ordered a lot of the lunch special habachi and it was all amazing. Great portion and great quality. Will definitely go again for my Japanese food cravings would recommend.

Usually love this place, but today was rough.
I ordered a to-go lunch chicken hibachi with double rice, no veggies — something I’ve gotten before and usually really enjoy. But today? Man… the rice specifically was so tainted with that to-go box chemical taste that it was straight-up inedible. I’m talking BADDD ☠️ like, I honestly feel like I could’ve just chewed on a plastic spoon instead and gotten the same flavor 🤦🏻‍♂️.

What made it worse is that the to-go box was literally melted in some spots. I don’t know if they changed their containers or what, but lord… that’s not safe, and it definitely ruined the food. The chicken was okay, but the rice was a total loss.

I really hope this was just a one-off, because I usually enjoy the food here — but this needs to be looked into ASAP.
