Very friendly and professional staff, Delicious food and smoothies, I’ve gone here about 15 times in the past month, I’m addicted ! The only negative thing I have to say is the amount of brain freezes I get from drinking drinking these delicious smoothies lol

I went inside on 9/14/2024 to purchase a gift card. There was a young girl behind the counter wiping down around the prep area. She looked at me, never spoke or asked if she could help me. I continued to stand there waiting patiently. She then rinsed the towel out and continued to wipe the counter. She looked at me again and still did not acknowledge me. She then turns around and pushes the cart to the back. So at this point I'm pissed. There was another staff member sitting in the lobby talking on his phone. I asked him was anyone working and he kinda of moved his hand like yea. There was another young lady working the drive thru. She had a line outside. So I decided to just leave. I will not spend my money were I'm not appreciated or acknowledged. These young kids need to be taught some manners and customer service. I'm never going back.???

Love Tropical Smoothie, but this location is the pits. EVERY SINGLE TIME I stop by it takes them 10 minutes or more to hand me my smoothie. And to be the first car in line and asked to pull around and they will bring your SMOOTHIE out is crazy work....?

I clearly placed my order for two smoothies at the drive through and there was one car ahead of me. When I pulled around it took them at least five minutes to give that car two smoothies. I got to the window and watched the teenagers having conversations between themselves and it took an additional five minutes for a guy to walk over and tell me what I ordered which was incorrect.
I repeated my order to him twice and he turned his back to me as he proceeded to start talking to his coworkers then they all just started looking at me. No one came to the window with my smoothies, asked for my money or apologize for my wait. I don’t play about my food and at that point I didn’t trust them to fix a smoothie for me. I drove off.
I called back to speak to a manager and the guy that answered the phone said “oh manager” in a smarty kind of way. This is unacceptable and I will drive to another city to get a smoothie before I go back to the Hueytown location. I understand teenagers need jobs but someone needs to train them on how to deal with customers!!!

Let me start by saying I have been a fan or tropical smoothie for years. Since the Hueytown location opened I was extremely happy. On June 8th I order 2 smoothie bowls online for pick up at 9:30pm. At 9:24 a young girl called my phone and said they don’t have any on the bowls I bought online. Could I come in the following Sunday. I respond yes I will come back Sunday. On Sunday morning I call to see if they could make the bowl. They young girl said can you come in a hour. I respond yes I can. When I walked in no one greeted me. Or even looked up. I announced myself and ask for my order. They looked at each other and went to try to make it as I’m standing there. Immediately I was pissed at the service and the run around. I have never had this happen.
Plus to top it off corporate was post to refund my money, still had not. I will be get my money back.
This is very poor service and probably won’t be open long if this how business is handled

Parking: There are only 3 spaces inside the parking lot for this store. But it is in the same parking lot as Aldi and they have a shared lot, including 2 spaces for online orders. You can also use the drive through.
