Service was excellent. I love the atmosphere of the place, but the food was a real let down. The appetizer was done perfectly except that the cheese sticks for a bit cold, but it was a to-go order so you can kind of expect that to some degree. The sauces that came with the appetizer confused me. There was no ranch or marinara for the cheese sticks. There was a mustard based sauce, a sauce with capers in it (possibly tartar sauce... Didn't taste like it though), and a remoulade....
A great small town restaurant! Old style country lunch buffet and great staff. You can also order straight for the menu which has options that look really good. Definitely worth a try when you were in Jackson, Alabama.
I was looking for a sit down meal after eating fast food for 2 days. I stumbled into this resteraunt on Google and decided to try it. I had the baked potato with shrimp etouffe, absolutely AMAZING! Probably one of the best meals I've ever had. This little hole in the wall resteraunt surprised me with their fabulous service and amazing food. If I'm ever in Jackson Alabama again, I'll eat here.
