Not familiar with cooking in Alabama. I ordered, wings and ribs. The wings were best wings I have every had and the ribs were excellent. I also tried the peanut butter pie which was not what I expected but the pie was good a well. The bartenders service was excellent. If I am ever in the neck of the woods I will surely make another visit.

My family and I was at Cooter Brown's on the evening of the 11th of September our toes was burnt hard and cold the ribs had been cooked with the same like 2 days they were no meat on it and extremely dry and hard that was probably the worst meal that I've had I've had good meals at cootie Brown's but this was in the entirely the worst and to top it off the bill was $106 that was for four adults and one child I will never go back to Cooter Browns and I would advise all of my friends not to go back to Brown's I don't know who they cook was but he definitely needs to go for training

Always incredible food and amazing atmosphere. Amazing specials on beer (2.50 high life and PBR) along with a great sandwich special in Friday. Wished we lived closer! Quick and attentive service. This place is always great.

This place is great and the server Kylie who had our bigger party was excellent.
My bf used to go every wednesday and we hadn't been in forever so we went back, it was alright. Its changed a little, ribs and cooter cob aint quit what it used to be and I get that its a college town with college kids but there was maybe 5 at least working and the only one I saw working was my server, sho was the bartender, he was phenomenal. A completely different demeanor than the others. Cooter browns will be an iconic place but I hope it doesnt fade as the next generation takes over.

Strong rib and wing game. Was passing through for the first time and needed a bite to eat. This place did not disappoint. I’m used to bbq joints that are usually let downs and this place was anything but. Great ribs. Great smoked wings.
