Yamato Steak House of Japan

Eat there for lunch on Sunday. They don't have lunch specials on weekend but do during the week. It's one of my mother's favorite places to eat. She gets vegetables Bentonville box . I get Scallops or salmon bento box. Comes with soup,salad and 4 sushi roll pieces andRice.

Absolutely love the hibachi chicken 🐔

I came from out of town and this place was recommended to me. I am literally in the parking lot writing this review. The food does not match the reviews. We had the friends sushi roll and it was the nastiest sushi I have ever had. It was soaked in oil we could not eat it and when we told the waitress her words yeah a lot of people have said that. But continues to bring us our check with the friends roll on it when I asked her why she said the owner said she wont take it off because its deep fried which makes no sense. Because deep fried shouldn't taste like it was left in there

Love the food! I was reaaly surpised but so happy! The place would fool you! The staff are friendly, Gabriel was super nice and his sugestions were on point.

Absolutely delicious food. I loved it and Im honestly very particular about hibachi places. Lots to choose from. My Chicken Hibachi was enough food for my son and I to share.

I ordered the rare filet mignon from the lunch menu and was sorely disappointed when I was brought a plate with chopped pieces of meat like it was meant to be served to a child.

The “stir fry” that came with the meal was simply rice, nothing stir fried into it…?The salad was served with thousand island dressing, instead of a Japanese dressing.

This was honestly worse than cafeteria food and was $14 after tax plus tip...

The entire restaurant feels icky and gross. If you are looking for a place to have a date or take someone for a special occasion, drive the extra distance to Fuji. I don’t understand how this place is still in business.

What a wonderful treat it was to find this place. We were immediately impressed with the servers and how nice everyone was. The food, Oh my lord, was amazing! After spending years in Japan, the food here is spot on and all delicious. We ordered three different sushi rolls, two appetizers, and four different Anigiri. An absolute must stop for good food and service.

My first time coming in and I was highly surprised to see a drive through option. Inside has plenty of seats both inside and out. The price and product was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Went around lunch and there was very little foot traffic. I’m definitely going back and trying more. I went with the hibachi chicken and added a shrimp tempura onigiri( which has instructions to remove wrap, so don’t be like me and just dig in). I will add that I would have like to have more vegetables with the meal.

My family and I very much enjoyed our visit. The food and service were outstanding. We enjoyed our sushi rolls, and I had the shrimp and scallops dinner, which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!

Yamato has always been one of our favorites and never fails to meet all expectations. I've never had any issues with the food, nor the service. The somewhat recent addition of the onigiri is also a huge plus!

Parking: Parking is manageable every weekday, but can be difficult during weekend evenings as we've been blocked in by other cars numerous times.
