This is probably one of the best seafood and sushi restaurants I've ever been to. Amazing food and service, don't let the small size of the dining area put you off. Bathrooms could be better though.

My husband and I are avid watchers of True South. John T Edge has never led us wrong before, so when he recommends a gas station for its sushi, we were a little skeptical. I have never been proven wrong so fast. Hands down the best sushi I have had in a decade. The spicy tuna roll slaps in the best way possible. The three color roll was flavorful and perfect. When you say gas station sushi, at first, it illicits concern. But, that’s before you taste it and realize it is literally, by far, the best sushi in the area. And, it actually rivals some sushi restaurants in large cities.

I have lived away from Jasper, Alabama for over 25 years. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi. I can confidently say this is some really good sushi and really good seafood.

The sushi was really good. I love sashimi and Nigiri....
