Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I had dinner here a couple nights ago. I ordered a steak medium rare, came out rare…sent it back got a whole new steak, medium rare came out black and blue…sent it back a third time and it came back (probably microwaved) over cooked to my liking. My server never offered to take my drinks or appetizers off, didn’t offer a free desert, absolutely nothing for the troubles of sending my steak back 3 times. My choice was Waffle House or Cracker Barrel. I’ll absolutely choose WH next time. Absolute shame, and a manager never came over to even talk to me. Photo I attacked was the first medium rare steak.

Our last visit was very unacceptable. We were seated and sat there for 10 minutes and no one came to serve us. There were three waiter/waitresses working table around us (within a few feet) and no one said a word to us. Finally we decided to leave and I went to find a manager and they were all sitting in the back dining room. One jumped up and wanted to take care of us and I told her it wasn’t the first time this has happened at this location and we left. Needless to say we probably won’t be back to this location. It was not at a rush hour time of service.

Great service, Summer was waitress , very fast, polite , couldn’t ask for better service.
Ordered steak and shrimp, good meal.

The food is good comfort food. Nothing spectacular but it isn't meant to be. Our waiter was excellent. She checked on us often at just the right times. Not a big fan of the simplified decor. The place looks sparse and has lost a lot of its charm.
