Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My sister, Summer, and I went there last night as a late Christmas get together and we had a wonderful experience. The food was awesome. My sister had the NY steak and I had the Cinnamon French Toast. Great delicious food. Most of all was our service. Our waiter, Cadeon great personality and great smile. Wonderful person. Wanted everyone to know he is a great fit to the Cracker Barrel Family. Thank you. Great experience.

Caden is by far the best server we have had in any Cracker Barrel location. He did a wonderful job and I could not recommend the Jasper location more just based off his service.

We had a 13 year old birthday dinner. The service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness, efficiency of the restaurant as a whole, and the staff were all exceptional! Our servers were Country and Stacy. They treated us like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Waited a long time for meal. I got the chicken and dumplings. When it arrived I had maybe 3 dumpling but a lot of chicken. There was so much broth that I had to ask for a spoon in order to eat it.Many items such as Sunrise Sampler and grilled chicken maple bacon sandwich have been removed from the menue. I ate the sunrise for decades. My first Cracker Barrel was in 1973 in TN. We are now considering striking it from our list as other menue items have also vanished. Not our go to any more.

The service was great but the food wasn't. We tried cracker barrel again, despite never having a good experience there, because we wanted some country cooking. I ordered the fried catfish, turnip greens, and pinto beans. The fish was very overcooked with no flavor and the greens had a funny taste. The only thing that tasted good was the carrots my wife got and the hush puppies. Very disappointed.

For years I have traveled across this country eating at Cracker Barrel and for years they have been in steady decline in all areas from food and service to atmosphere. I had all but given up until today. Not wanting to stop in Birmingham my nephew and I reluctantly visited the Jasper location.
It was like a flash back to the Glory days of Cracker Barrel. The location was immaculately clean, the service was fast and friendly. The food was on point and even the game was back on the tables. I was reminded today of why I fell in love with Cracker Barrel in the first place. Great job Jasper, keep it up!

Good and the ( British like it ) good picturs / good service ( not sure on the time ) never been there ( would not expand,/ others do might change ) be kind to the wait staff ( enjoy ) take time ( wipes ) good food ( oh enjoy the avocado 🥑 toast ) enjoy

We were traveling and stopped for a quick bite. Over these last 35 years, we have eaten at many Cracker Barrels. This one is my new favorite. Every single dish on my plate was perfect!
