I'm from Chicago, 40 years in Chicago. I'm coming up on 6 years in Alabama. This has been the only restaurant I have experienced within a 100 miles of Jasper that has even come close to replicating Chicago food. hands down the best hotdog & beef sandwich around. I'm looking forward to trying the burgers & Maxwell

You can tell they know their cheeseburgers and hot dogs. And maybe some of their desserts. But we decided with some lighter options as well. The chicken salad and the pimento cheese sandwich was subpar. We had never eaten there so we were very excited. That along with the fact of the annoyance by my questions with the lady on the phone because I didn't know the menu? Well, I am sorry. If you actually don't like something don't give a good revue. I don't care...

Okay so I am visiting from Chicagoland so I am going to be a little critical. I ordered the Chicago dog and got the smallest sport peppers I have ever seen and I got half of a pickle sphere. The toppings of a Chicago dog should be practically falling off, and I can only assume they did this for the convenience of the customers or something but I was a little disappointed. My boyfriend got a phillycheese and it had no cheese but maybe got confused because it was the Monday special...
