1/2 chicken plate, the chicken was absolutely delicious and fresh, the corn casserole has way to much butter, there was a puddle in the bottom, Mac and cheese was also delicious, 2 plates and 2 sides and a bbq sandwich was $40

Got a smoked turkey this year from here because our normal go to restaurant wasn’t offering it this year ! We will be smoking our own next year because this was the worst $53 spent , absolutely didn’t taste like a traditional smoked turkey should taste ! Super small and just all around disappointed. Dried out and very little meat .

Stopped in on the way home from Dismal’s Canyon. 6 of us total. All ordered something different. Service was fast and food was GREAT! Will definitely stop by again next time we pass through! 10/10

Great food. Authentic. They love their mayonnaise and some of the creamiest sides you can find in a barbecue restaurant in North Alabama. Well done, but be prepared for Corn casserole and potato salad that are the creamiest. I enjoyed them, but not everyone did. The meats were about as good as you can get.

Brisket plate w green beans/potato salad. Pork plate w baked beans/coleslaw - Pork plate is great, moist & full of bark. Green beans were on point.. Worst brisket I’ve ever had.. was the texture of an overdone chuck roast. Coleslaw is up there with the worst I’ve had also. Basically a 100% mayonnaise. Next time I would just grab a lb of the pork and make sandwiches at home.

The service from the moment we walked in was wonderful. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The food was very good. The pulled pork, beans, and mac 'n' cheese were phenomenal. These three Puerto Ricans really enjoyed their experience here.
Son’s Smokehouse makes you feel like you are with family. I enjoy everything they serve. All their meats and all their sides are home runs. I feel like I am Norm in Cheers whenever I go. Thanks for a great meal, a great friendly staff, and a great environment. Keep up the good work.

We decided to stop here while traveling back home from a day of adventure. The food was good and it came out quick. The staff were nice and friendly, and the owner was the sweetest. He came and spoke and thanked us for coming in. If we pass through again we will be back.
