My first time eating here and was very disappointed!! The pulled pork was okay, but I have had better. The Mac and cheese was horrible. It was so grainy that both my husband and I could not eat it. The green beans were so salty that I could not eat them. So my lunch I paid $14 for consisted of pulled pork.

We went by yesterday specifically because they have brisket! The side items we got were potato salad and baked beans. Brought all our food home and had a feast! Delicious!

This was my first time eating at Son’s Smokehouse and I was NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was laid back and the food was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to answer my questions regarding the menu. I will be back!

The pulled chicken was delicious ? will be back for that again. Also the banana pudding was good too but the pineapple pudding was my favorite of all beside the chicken I am waiting for Wednesday so I can go buy me some more

I ate at Son's Smokehouse Friday with my husband, and we didn't enjoy the food. I got the wing dinner with Mac & cheese and corn casserole. Terry had the pork loin dinner special with baked beans and corn casserole. The wings were very good, but the sides were so not what they used to be.
The corn casserole had way too many jalapeños for our taste. Not. everyone likes spicy foods. The baked beans were plain, no flavor.
And, the Mac & cheese was too greasy or buttery. The cheese was separated from the noodles, and was clumpy. It also had no flavor.
The pork loin was "OK", my husband said. We ended up throwing away more than we ate.
Son's Smokehouse was so good when they first opened, we ordered from there almost every weekend. What happened to y'all?

We stopped her on a cross country road trip because it was rated the best around. We were pleasantly surprised when an older gentleman approached us after we were done eating to ask if we wanted to try a banana pudding or pineapple pudding FREE of charge! After some reluctance, we agreed and he went to the back kitchen to get it. We didn't catch his name, but his picture is on the wall with a HUGE bass! We just wanted to say THANK YOU, and that the food was delicious!

Food was good. We were a little disappointed. They were out of ribs and coleslaw. The BBQ was good but not hot. BBQ chicken was really good and my wife really enjoyed the banana pudding.
Love, love, love this place! Big, bold flavors are on the menu. The pulled pork with the white sauce creates a luscious, mouth-watering bite that you keep wanting more off. It's smoked and seasoned and the baked beans are packed with flavor. The pineapple pudding is a fresh take on banana pudding that was really great. The decor is gorgeous and comfortable, just my style. I can't wait to get back to Jasper.
Food was good, the in house BBQ sauce is excellent. It was quite and clean. Small but nice place with good BBQ.

I dined in with my wife and ordered the regular steak sandwich. It was delicious, but it needed to be hotter. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. The service was awesome, and the banana pudding tasted great! The owners are wonderful people; well, Ms. Mary is for sure. ;)
