We got a new Whataburger locally, and this was my first time having anything from this chain, so I was looking forward to seeing what all the hype was about.
Unfortunately it was less than stellar...
First, they completely forgot our fries so wife had to go back for them. Then they were incredibly salty, and that's saying a lot because I love a good salty fry, but these were way overkill.
Then, I open up my burger, which was ordered to be cheese, ketchup, and mayo ONLY on it, and verified as such 3 times by the order taker, was loaded with everything that WASN'T supposed to be on it (lettuce, onion chunks, tomatoes, etc).
Luckily I managed to salvage the burger patty by using my own cheese, buns, and condiments, completely defeating the purpose of paying for it from the restaurant, but I was hungry, so I made due.
After all was said and done, I take a sip from my drink, which is supposed to be Sprite or equivalent, and it tastes like club soda and chlorine. I literally gagged.
Needless to say, I won't go back with this being my first experience.
There was, in fact, zero hype to be found. 👎👎

The fries were served lukewarm and the bacon burger was the worst I’ve ever tasted. I took one bite of the burger and a couple of fries before returning the whole order for a full refund. The lemonade tasted like it came from a package that was mixed with water and artificial sweetener. On top of that, I waited in the drive through line for 10-15 minutes before my order was delivered. They take your money first though to make sure you don’t drive off. I’m never going back to any location. The prices are too high for the product and service (or lack thereof). Fast food is a joke!

Ordered food in the drive thru and was greeted by Morgan. She was so kind and had a huge smile on her face! She made sure we had everything we needed. Anytime I come here and get her, she is consistently sweet and it makes me enjoy coming here even more. The food is delicious as always! We love the patty melt and my kids enjoy the burger kids meal.

My husband and I decided to try the new Whataburger in Jasper Al. We entered to a empty counter which was fine as it gave us time to look over the menu. But after standing there for over 10 minutes and not a single person showed their face, you could clearly hear the children laughed and horseplayed at the drive through, btw no one was in the drive through, we decided not only did they loose our business for the night, but any future business from us and anyone else that asks about the place.

I went in to order and they did not come to the counter to take my order. They just stood over by the drive through talking.And they seen me. So I drove through the drive through and ordered. The food was really good and the girl in the drive through was nice. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was because of the trouble for me to actually get to order and get my food.

I went to Whataburger while my husband was at the tire store this was about 4pm as I was walking to Whataburger this young blonde girl in a car leaving wearing her uniform was flipping her middle finger off at a worker at the tire store yelling child rapist now I don’t know the story on what happened but that is unprofessional and shouldn’t be allowed by Whataburger management to hire someone with disrespect and colorful language while wearing the uniform yall should be ashamed of yourself for having an employee like that

The food was good… once the order was corrected. We love Whataburger and eat it a lot while traveling for work. But the Jasper AL store is lacking…. The girl at the register ‘Blue C’, who or whatever that is supposed to be was rude and very unfriendly. I’m sorry ‘Blue C’ if we were an inconvenience for you while ordering our food and while trying to get it corrected because the order was wrong. ‘Blue C’ needs a position in the back where her negative aura doesn’t show to the patrons. Also, I ordered a chicken sandwich; it came with lettuce and tomato; just a word of advice, if you will not eat old wilted lettuce yourself do not assume others will eat it.
