So me and my parents were driving from Florida back up to Tennessee But we were hungry, so we decided to stop by and get some food. The inside is pretty the food tasted absolutely amazing I even made a specific request and the waiter was able to do it! This restaurant deserves more attention and I 10 out of 10 recommend!!

I always have a great experience when I dine in/order take out from this restaurant. The staff are excellent and always go above and beyond to ensure quality service. There was a slight mistake with one of my takeout orders tonight, but when I brought it back, not only did they remake my meal in a timely manner, but also gave me more chips and salsa and cheese dip (not part of my order) as a courtesy. I will keep coming back to Casa Ortiz. They have quality service and the food is always great! The steak street tacos are always my go to.

Went with a group of 8 but literally took 30 minutes to get a menu and order drinks and over a hour to get food after that we was there 2 hours we should of went to clanton and the food price is absolutely ridiculous never be back

Placed large to go order for a group. Chicken and rice was good as was #10 combo dinner. Veggie quesadilla was mushy, and was ordered with no cheese due to allergy, but had cheese on the side in same dish-- WTH?! Queso was good, a tad spicy for queso. Personal preference is Mr Taco down the street

Very pleased with my visit here. I tried the chori dip, botana guacamole and fiesta dip. They were all delicious with great quality ingredients. My other family members had chile rellenos and cheeseburger and fries. They grilled us up some whole jalapeños as well. Everything was wonderful!! The service and atmosphere was very enjoyable too. I have heard their margaritas are awesome so o look forward to coming back and giving them a try!

My family and I ordered here awhile back since it was the only Mexican restaurant that opened on Sundays. My dad ordered the Caldo de Camaron and it was too spicy to even eat and had an unhealthy amount of grease. I had ordered the steak burrito but it had the same problem as the Caldo, way too greasy. My sisters order the Tacos de Chorizo and it tasted as if it was not cooked all the way through and was also greasy. Their food truck down in Clanton and better then the restaurant.

The food is always fresh and flavorful. The service is always the best, the staff is helpful and friendly. They always have a smile on their faces, no matter how busy it gets. The chips and salsa are fresh, flavorful, and crispy chips. The food has great taste. They use seasonings on their meats , where most Mexican restaurants don't. As long as they continue to serve flavorful food, we will continue to make the drive, and I would highly recommend it. Great people!
