I always enjoy eating here. Not only is the sushi fresh, but the service is fast and efficient. The hot green is a perfect touch to a cold rainy day. The miso soup is delicious, and the afternoon special is the perfect price.

Absolutely fabulous!In such a place as Leeds AL, I found a wonderful small, informal Asian restaurant. I looked over the menu and got the Shuman, rolls, and tataki tuna. All appetizers, all just wonderful. My server Vanessa took great care of me, and the atmosphere is casual enough that I could enjoy the quiet after a hard day as a crew-dog for a race team.Izumi is a treasure, and you will enjoy the experience.

Crab Rangoons are great, so is the sushi. Plating is simple and very pretty and portions are more than fair for the price and quality. Service was attentive, polite, and fast. My only complaint is that the dessert portions were much smaller than expected compared to the meal, but not so much that I'd deduct a star for it.
