Saw this place through an internet search, it looked like a great place to try on a Friday night. It was not too crowded at 7 pm or so. It had a warm mom and pop place feel. I ordered the brisket sandwich combo at the counter. It took about 10.minuyrd minutes to be brought to my table. The sandwich was sliced on a 4 inch bun. They were not very generous with the amount of the meat. It had good flavor but I have had more tender brisket on a bun at other places. I sampled all the sauce choices on the table. I liked all of them. The fries were hot and just the right crunch. They were better fries for fries sake than the brisket was for BBQ sake on this night. If I passed through again I would for variety's sake try another restaurant. But it was flavorful with a good smoke taste. A bit more meat on the bun and smoked another hour would have made quite a difference.
Barbecue is always subjective, but to our family, Rusty’s gets it just right. Amazing ribs, and the pulled pork is awesome. You really don’t need sauce, but you’ll enjoy trying the ones they offer. They’re all good.

I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of fries to see how it stacked up against Texas BBQ, and Rusty’s did not disappoint. They offer four different sauces, and I highly recommend trying them all! I loved the house sauce for my sandwich and the sweet sauce paired perfectly with the fries. I also had the potato salad and cornbread bites—both were excellent. If you’re in the area, Rusty’s is a must-visit for BBQ lovers!
