In town from Indiana for the IndyCar race and a friend took me there for dinner. I will definitely be back tomorrow!!! Food was amazing and homemade. I had the pulled chicken dinner, it will be hard to beat, but I’m looking forward to the brisket there

We are locals. Best bbq near here. I love chicken and white sauce, hubby loves rib tips. Ribs are amazing when we splurge and get them. Save room for peanut butter pie!
Pork BBQ and the sweet baked beans were good. I also tried the vinegar based coke slaw and that was very good as well.Staff was very nice and friendly. Very cozy, local eatery.
Sides were good but the Pulled Pork BBQ seemed more like boiled or crockpot cooked rather than smoked slowly. Not awful just at that price point it didn't match similar BBQ joints.
The first time we went here, we were just looking for a place to eat close to Bass Pro for lunch. The food was great plus we like local versus chain establishments. I wanted to go to Bass Pro today, so this time, I planned it around on so we could eat lunch at Rustys again. Highly recommend the pulled pork, spicy beans, and coleslaw made with vinegar.
Sauce was in bottles on the table. Had to mix three together to get a sauce worth eating. Beans over cooked. Good, tender ribs. Large serving sizes.
