Closed? On July 4th, possibly the busiest lake day of the year? How does this place survive? This is no way to run a business in a resort area. Smarter operators are taking your customers! Wake up or shut down. You're welcome.
They served me a warm beer. Switched to a cocktail, good but small for the price. Food is pricy and nothing special. You are basically paying for the atmosphere. I won’t be back.
I enjoy going here with my friends food and staff are amazing and because of that I bought a t-shirt and I normally do not do that. The most important thing to me was how this restaurant treated people with a disability who had the need for a service dog. This restaurant treated my service dog with the upmost respect so. i will recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone you will not regret it
Amazing atmosphere and great food! Highly recommend; right on the lake, lots of seating. It's a happening place so go early if you can!
Need an escape from the everyday? Decks and Docks is a scenic 50-minute beautiful backroad trip from Anniston (if you head towards Piedmont) and is just the respite you need! My husband, little one, and I enjoyed lunch on a Saturday in May with no wait and a gorgeous view of the Coosa River. Staff was friendly and prompt and willing to provide recommendations on what to order and the best way to have it prepared. I ordered the grilled shrimp tossed in cajun seasoning with a side of fried okra prepared "extra crispy" with a sour-cream based potato salad that I found to be very delicious. My husband was pleased with his order of medium wings and french fries, and my toddler enjoyed his hot dog. While we soaked in the unseasonably refreshing cool Summer day outside during the afternoon, I can imagine the place is equally as charming under the hanging lights in the evening. I highly recommend the visit, and I'm sure we'll be back soon!
Great place to dine outside! My wife and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! The setup of the building and the deck was very creative and was an all-around great experience!
It was our first dining experience there. Just happened to be out anniversary. Our server was extremely nice and so down to earth. The atmosphere was awesome. We ate on the deck overlooking the river. So peaceful. The food was wonderful. We will definitely be going back. It's about an eighty mile driving from home, but it is worth it.
Everyone had appetizers and meals and a few beers and not one single complaint about ANYTHING! Everything was great! The breading they use on fried peppers/fried shrimp/catfish/fried green tomatoes was light and crispy and obviously freshly prepared, not store bought, boxed, and frozen!Great atmosphere and wait staff. We'll definitely be back!
Decided to make this our destination trip on the Harley Road King today, and we are glad we did! This will become a reoccurring weekend bike trip! Beautiful place and area, great food and service, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere!
We have ate here about 5 times now. The service is top shelf. Most entrees are spot on. The sides are a little less desirable. The side salad was good and cold. The baked beans lacked the BBQ taste. The mac and cheese was lacking in taste. The chili cheese fries are a 2 out of 10 on the taste scale. The coleslaw lacks taste as wellIf you want great service and and awesome atmosphere give it a try.
Food was great! There was a problem with the fish(closing time I'm guessing) but they cooked a fresh order and it was really good
I was really expecting a good burger from a place like this. Unfortunately the burger I received was dry and mediocre at best. I guess when you have a nice location an limited competition, you can get away with poor food? The staff was friendly, though.
Clean, attentive n polite staff. Handi parking could use cement for wheelchair accessibility. Extremely pricey wings considering they were dry. As if they had been cooked most of the day. That being said, quite possibly the best BBQ fries I have found to date.*Update* hot wings will definitely put u over a toilet. Never eat here again.
The fish tacos were delicious. They had the right ratio of fish slaw and sauce. The alcohol beverage was also made to perfection. There was a single musician, and he was awesome. The food and drink prices were reasonable.
