We were staying at a friend's cabins on Lake Wedowee. They raved about this place, so we tried it on a Friday night. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff was very friendly. We started with cocktails, beer, and wine. Then we started with a few appetizers such as wings, fried green tomatoes, and onion rings. Each was very good. For our main courses, we had fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, and several orders of Cajun boiled shrimp. Each of these was excellent, and the sides, such as the red potatoes and corn on the cob, were also very favorable. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

They have great does and really good live music on the weekend! The drinks are good too

The frog legs were amazing the wings were amazing the only issues I had was the portion sizes but considering how busy they were we got our food quick and it was good

Proceed with caution. Food was average, but service was terribly slow. Part of our order came out, but my mother and daughter never got their food. After about 20 minutes, the waitress finally came over. She said something happened to the fryer. Then she offered to make something else, but said it couldn’t be anything from the fryer. My daughter was going to get a grilled cheese, but there was nothing my mother-in-law could really order to make an entire meal (either the fish needed to be fried or the sides she wanted needed to be fried). We just told them we’d be leaving. They gave my daughter a popsicle (cut open with scissors from who knows where), and we left. As we were walking out the door, the waitress said, “Oh, it’s coming up now.” Ridiculous…I know working in food service is not easy work, but it was just an awkwardly poor situation all the way around. We were there for 1 1/2 hours and had to find another place to eat. Thanks Porch Dogs, of Wedowee, for saving the day!

Service here is awful. Waited 20 minutes and no one came to take our order. Only one other table of customers. 4:00 on Saturday.

The fried catfish was phenomenal! The other food left a little to be desired, BUT they were very busy and seemed short staffed. Our waitress was phenomenal!

The first time we went there, the service was great. I work very hard for my money so not only do I want quality food, I also want quality service or I will take my money elsewhere. I walked in the door to pick up a call in order there were several individuals that obviously worked there that just stood there and looked at me did not greet me or acknowledge I was there(even after making eye contact and smiling at them). It was like I was completely invisible. One of the women walked away as I stood there. Eventually a lady came and asked me if I was picking up an order and I told her yes. I paid for my order and was like “OK thank you, I hope you have a good evening” and it was like I was speaking to myself in an empty room. I left a $10 tip on a $28 takeout order and that is the last time I will ever waste my money in an establishment that cannot even give their time to make me feel like my money is valued there. Just a simple “hello we will be with you in a moment” would have worked great.

We eat with Lynnie Bo’s every week. The catfish filets are exceptional. Fine dining at a local restaurant!

We just visited tonight and had a great experience! A family of 6 and we were promptly seated. Live music but not too loud, just right. Food came out quick and was good. I asked if the cajun seasoning was gluten free and the waitress brought out the spice container for me to look at. I had baked potato, turnip greens, and cajun catfish and it was all great, and everyone else enjoyed their meals too (coconut shrimp, burgers, Philly cheesesteak). It made our first night at the lake special.

Dietary restrictions: Helpful when I asked if something had gluten.

Kid-friendliness: Kid menu and family atmosphere.

I had a really good hamburger here the other day. But every time I come here or order for pick up there is either issues with service, checks being wrong, wrong food or slow wait times.
